PU PREPARED TO CONDUCT ELECTIONS OF REGISTERED GRADUATES

The election of 15 Ordinary Fellows from the Constituency of
Registered Graduates for the Panjab University Senate Elections will be held
either on 3rd or 4th Sunday of September
i.e. 19th or 26th September, 2021 depending on
the response from the States of Delhi and Uttrakhand, informed Sh. Vikram
Nayyar, Registrar-cum-Returning Officer, PU. PU has already sent another reminder to these
States on 23rd August, 2021 and is also continuously following
up. It was further informed that PU has already received positive response from
the five States which includes Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and
Chandigarh. The University is fully prepared to conduct the election of
Registered Graduates on the above dates.

इस साल जनवरी में लॉन्च
की गई ‘ट्ररू मोशन तकनीक’(टीएमटी) द्वारा आईवी अस्पताल, मोहाली में 100

दौरान यह जानकारी देते हुए आईवी अस्पताल, मोहाली में आर्थोपेडिक व ज्वाइंट रिप्लेसमेंट के डायरेक्टर व हेड ,
भानु प्रताप सिंह सलूजा ने कहा कि टीएमटी एक सरल और एलिगेंट तकनीक
है जिसमें केवल 15 से 20 मिनट का
सर्जिकल समय लगता है। यह तकनीक एक वरदान है व इस तकनीक से गठिया के रोगियों को विशेष
रूप से लाभ होता है। उन्होंने बताया की टीएमटी में स्टिच-लेस सर्जरी की तकनीक के माध्यम से

Governor of Punjab inaugurates a new Indian Oil Retail Outlet

In order to meet the
continuously growing demand for petrol in the city, Chandigarh Industrial
and Tourism Development Corporation Limited (CITCO) started its 6th Petrol
& CNG station at Industrial Area , Phase 1 on Hallo Majra Road Chandigarh
here today . CITCO caters to a large number of vehicles from its existing five
petrol stations spread across the tricity. A new state of the art Indian
Oil (IOCL) fuel Outlet at Chandigarh's Industrial Area Phase-I was
dedicated to the customers today by Hon'ble Governor of Punjab &
Administrator UT Chandigarh, Shri VP Singh Badnore in the presence of Shri Dharampal,
IAS, Advisor to Administrator of UT Chandigarh; Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Hon'ble
Mayor, Chandigarh; Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, IAS, Principal Secretary (Home) UT
Chandigarh cum Chairman CITCO , Ms Jasvinder Kaur Sidhu , IAS , Managing
Director CITCO , Mr Rubinderjit Singh Brar , PCS , Chief General Manager
CITCO & Sh. SM Vaidya, Chairman, Indian Oil; Sh. Sujoy
Choudhury, Executive Director and State Head, Indian Oil Punjab State Office
and other Senior officials from Chandigarh administration and Indian Oil
officials. This new Indian Oil Retail Outlet, located at Industrial Area Phase
I of Chandigarh, will significantly add to the convenience of residents in the
surrounding areas by reducing their travelling time for fuel requirements.
CITCO shall operate the outlet. During the event, the first LPG
composite cylinder was also handed over to His Excellency, Governor of Punjab
& Administrator UT Chandigarh, Shri VP Singh
Badnore by the Chairman IOCL. According to the Managing Director
CITCO, presently, CITCO owns five petrol pumps in the city including the
compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensing pump on Madhya Marg in Sector
17. With the addition of 6th Pump, we can massively meet
the demand of the residents , especially the traffic on the National Highway
moving towards Delhi and it will add to its revenues.
