Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Salil Gupta R/o Plot No. 280, Ph. 1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh who alleged that Amit Kumar R/o Flat No. 302, Tower No. 12, Royal Estate Society, Zirakpur, PB employed as Accountant in their firm embezzled/cheated Rs. 5 lakh by forging his signature on cheques between 01.01.2013 to 01.03.2022. The investigation of the case is in progress.

* A case FIR No. 01, U/S 467, 468, 471, 473, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of HC Satyawan 931/CP, Traffic Lines against Guljinder Singh R/o Village Kamali, Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib, PB, who was driving Hyundai car No. HR-07G-9318 which was impounded at Naka Dividing Road, Sector-50/51, Chandigarh. Later the number of this vehicle was found belonging to a tractor on e-challan portal. The investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Satish Kumar R/o # 210, Gali No. 11, Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold ornaments & 3 gents watches from his residence after breaking the locks between 29-12-2023 and 02-01-2024. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 03, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Damanpreet Singh R/o # 4480, Ward No. 13, Kharar, Distt. Mohali (PB) who alleged that driver of Innova car No. CH-01CC-0908 had hit complainant’s car No. CH-01CJ-1813 near Poultry Farm Chowk, Chandigarh on 30.12.2023.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 04, U/S 307, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh Ramandeep Singh R/o # 6462-B, Sector-56, Chandigarh who alleged that Sanjay @ Sunny R/o # 6415-B, Sector-56, Chandigarh attacked on complainant and his friend Hemant with sharp knife near # 6415-B, Sector-56, Chandigarh on 01-01-2024. Both victim sustained injuries admitted to PGI, Chandigarh. Later alleged person Sanjay @ Sunny R/o # 6415-B, Sector-56, Chandigarh, Age 20 Years has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Ajaypal Meena R/o Village Sarangpur, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons (motorcyclist) sped away after snatching mobile phone from complainant near Aatta Chakki, Village Sarangpur, Chandigarh on 02.01.2024. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

A case FIR No. 05, U/S 397, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Munna R/o # 444, Village Dadu Majra, Chandigarh who reported that two unknown persons (Motorcyclist) robbed away cash Rs. 1500/- from complainant by stabbing him near chowk, Sector-39/40/55/56, Chandigarh on 01-01-2024. Complainant sustained injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

अखिल भारतीय हिंदू सुरक्षा समिति के  राष्ट्रीय महासचिव अशोक तिवारी ने चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक  बनवारी लाल पुरोहित जी से अपील की है कि हिंदू धर्म के लिए अयोध्या में रामलला की मंदिर में होने वाली स्थापना एक अलौकिक और आस्था से जुड़ा हुआ मुद्दा है। हर कोई चाहता है कि अलौकिक अवसर के गवाह बने इसलिए उन्होंने 22 जनवरी को प्रदेश भर में सार्वजनिक अवकाश घोषित करने की मांग की है ताकि किसी तरह की रोक-टोक के बगैर सभी लोग परोक्ष रूप से इस आयोजन में शामिल हो सकें और अपने को धन्य मान सकें। अखिल भारतीय हिंदू सुरक्षा समिति ने मांग की है कि  राम मंदिर के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के शुभ अवसर पर चंडीगढ़ मैं सरकारी अवकाश किया जाए स्कूल की छुट्टियां की जाए एवं मीट मदिरा बीड़ी सिगरेट की दुकान बंद की जाए तिवारी ने कहा कि श्री राम मंदिर की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का दिन  स्वर्णिम अक्षरों में लिखा जाएगा । अशोक तिवारी ने पंजाब सरकार एवं हरियाणा सरकार से भी मांग की  22 तारीख को  छुट्टी का नोटिफिकेशन जारी करना चाहिए जिससे लोग घरों में पूजा पाठ मंदिरों भंडारे का आयोजन एवं अपने घरों में हवन यज्ञ करने के साथ-साथ लाइव टीवी में मंदिर की प्राण  प्रतिष्ठा देख सकें ।

चंडीगढ़ ट्रैफिक पुलिस और लायंस क्लब चंडीगढ़ सेंट्रल के सहयोग से सेक्टर 44, चंडीगढ़ लेबर चौक पर रिफ्लेक्टिव टेप/रिफ्लेक्टर लगाने के संबंध में एक विशेष अभियान का आयोजन किया गया l इस आयोजन के दौरान लगभग. 750 रिफ्लेक्टिव टेप/रिफ्लेक्टर जो की रात के दौरान और विशेष रूप से दृश्यता बढ़ाने के लिए दोनों पहियों पर पीले रंग के रिफ्लेक्टिव टेप और साइकिलों के पीछे लाल टेप चिपकाया गया था। जो की उन्हें कोहरे के मौसम के दोरान सहयोग देगा ये लगभग 400 साइकिललों पर चिपकाए गए कार्यक्रम में जसविंदर सिंह, चंडीगढ़ ट्रैफिक पुलिस, डीएसपी/यातायात (आर एंड डी) सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता सेल के सदस्यों के साथ लायन सतीश भास्कर, चेयरमैन डिस्ट्रिक्ट, लायन संजीव लायंस क्लब के अध्यक्ष सेठी और क्लब प्रशासक लायन संजीव गुप्ता चंडीगढ़ सेंट्रल और राम लाल, अध्यक्ष, कंस्ट्रक्शन वर्कर लेबर यूनियन सेक्टर 44 मौजूद रहे। इसी प्रकार  चंडीगढ़ की सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता सेल यातायात पुलिस ने सेक्टर 32, चंडीगढ़ में एस.डी.स्कूल में भी सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया।  जिसमे छात्रों को सड़क सुरक्षा के बारे में जागरूकता किया और विभिन्न यातायात नियम और विनियमों का पालन करना चाहिए। इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान 40 एनएसएस के छात्रों ने भाग लिया और लगभग 120 सड़क सुरक्षा पंपलेट वितरित किये गये। चंडीगढ़ ट्रैफिक पुलिस साइकिल साइकिल चालकों व साइकिल रिक्शा चालकों से अपील करती है की वे रेहड़ी खींचने वालों को अपनी सुरक्षा के लिए धीमे कैरिजवे/साइकिल ट्रैक का उपयोग करना चाहिएl

शहर के सरकारी अनुदान प्राप्त कॉलेजों के नॉन टीचिंग स्टाफ की रिवाइज्ड पे-स्केल और सेंट्रल सर्विस रूल्स की मांग को अब चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश भाजपा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष एवं हिमाचल प्रदेश भाजपा के सह प्रभारी संजय टंडन का समर्थन भी मिल गया है। सरकारी अनुदान प्राप्त कॉलेजों की नॉन टीचिंग स्टाफ यूनियन को भाजपा नेता संजय टंडन ने भरोसा दिलाया है कि वह उनकी इस मांग को केंद्र के समक्ष जोरदार तरीके से रखेंगे। इसके साथ ही संजय टंडन ने इस संबंध में केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह को पत्र भी लिखा है। उन्होंने गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से इन दोनों मांगों पर विचार कर जल्द ही आवश्यक कार्रवाई की अपील की है। दरअसल, भाजपा नेता संजय टंडन ने गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से सरकारी अनुदान प्राप्त कॉलेजों के नॉन टीचिंग स्टाफ संबंधी रिवाइज्ड पे स्केल की मांग को 1 जनवरी 2016 से लागू किए जाने की अपील की है। इसके अलावा सेंट्रल सर्विस रूल्स को 1 अप्रैल 2022 से लागू किए जाने की अपील भी की है। गौरतलब है कि सरकारी अनुदान प्राप्त कॉलेजों की नॉन टीचिंग स्टाफ यूनियन द्वारा 21 अक्टूबर 2011 को भी केंद्र सरकार के उच्च शिक्षा विभाग का ध्यान इन मांगों की ओर आकृष्ट कराया गया था। विभाग को लिखे पत्र में स्पष्ट तौर पर मांग की गई थी कि सरकारी अनुदान प्राप्त नॉन टीचिंग स्टाफ का वेतनमान भी चंडीगढ़ के सरकारी कॉलेजों के कर्मचारियों के समान किया जाए। इसके आधार पर यूनियन को अंतिम वेतन आयोग प्रदान किया गया था। दरअसल, चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन द्वारा केंद्र शासित प्रदेश, चंडीगढ़ के कर्मचारियों के वेतनमान को पहले ही संशोधित किया जा चुका है।

आज़ाद ड्रामेटिक क्लब ,रामलीला व दशहरा कमेटी सेक्टर 20 द्वारा नववर्ष 2024 के प्रारम्भ पर यहां गुरूद्वारे के पास चाय-पकोड़े का लंगर लगाया व भगवान से प्रार्थना की कि यह वर्ष सभी के जीवन में सुख, समृद्धि व शांति लाए। बलविंदर सिंह , राजा , कुलदीप कुमार ,  राजा विर्क , रमेश बतरा , अशोक चौधरी , ओ पी दाबला इस लंगर में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। ग़ौरतलब है कि  कमेटी द्वारा 21 दिसम्बर से लगातार चाय, मठी ,बिस्किट का लंगर जारी है।

Chandigarh Police apprehended Angrej Singh R/o Village-Jlalana, Distt- Sirsa (HR) Age 40 Years, while he was consuming liquor & creating nuisance at public place at Kachi Parking near Wine Shop, Motor Market, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 01.01.2024. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

*Chandigarh Police apprehended Rahul R/o # 242, Ward No. 3/A, Adarsh Nagar, Belongi, Mohali (PB), Age 36 Years, while he was consuming liquor & creating nuisance at public place at Dusshera Ground, Sector-38/West, Chandigarh on 01.01.2024. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Govind R/o # 531, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, Age 22 years, Narinder Kumar R/o # 672 Sec-16 Panchkula (HR) Age 42 Years, Jai Singh R/o in front Shop No. 659, Motor Market, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, Age 22 Years and Sandeep Kumar R/o # 329/5, Smadhi Gate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, Age 26 Years, while they were gambling near Shani Mandir, Motor Market. Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 01.01.2024. Total cash Rs. 1560/- was recovered from them. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Suraj Kumar @ Gindal R/o # 919, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, Age 28 Years and recovered 11 bottles of whiskey from his possession near Plot No. 102, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 01.01.2024. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vivek Kumar R/o # 822/1, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person had stolen cycle from Parking near SCO No. 223, Sector-37/C, Chandigarh on 29.12.2023. Later a person namely Shri Ram R/o # 64 C/o Lakha Village-Daddu Majra, Chandigarh, Age 19 Years was arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 379 IPC & added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 01, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mahender Kumar and others R/o Village Knauja Khurd, Distt-Pryagraj (UP) who alleged that Gurwinder Singh Walia, Manager, Grow World Service, SCO No. 73-74, 3rd floor, Sector-17, Chandigarh and others cheated complainant and other 14 persons of Rs. 16,00,000/- for providing work visa to Singapore in 2021. The investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 01, U/S 279, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dev Parkash, Lineman, Electricity Department, Complaint Centre, Sector-19, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Fortuner car No. CH-01CS-3341 namely Gaurav Trihan R/o # 1055, Sector-18, Chandigarh, Age 54 years, hit an electric pole near Booth No. 4-5, Electronic Market, Sector 18, Chandigarh on 31.12.2023. Alleged person was arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 01, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34 on the complaint of Vansh Maheshwari R/o # 65, Sector-7, Panchkula, (HR) who alleged that persons namely Akshay Sawal, Shaurya Bhardwaj and Pavtesh forcefully stopped complainant’s car near # 450, Sector 46, Chandigarh and assaulted/threatened complainant on 01.01.2024.
