BioNEST Panjab
University website was launched by ProF. K. Vijay Raghavan, Principal
Scientific Advisor(PSA) to Govt of India and a don of Indian
Science, during his visit to PU, here today at BioNEST Panjab University in the
presence of VC PU, Prof Arun Kumar Grover and Dr. Rohit Sharma. Prof. Raghavan
interacted with the BioNEST start-ups by Shivanshi Vashist, MD, MicroRadical
360 Pvt.Ltd. working on nitrile hydrolyzing enzymes and Dr. Vandita Kakkar
working on nanohybrid topical product for dermatitis. Both the innovators won
Rs. 50.00 lacs as BIRAC BIG awards. The website portal contains all the new
national and international opportunities for the young scientists and
entrepreneurs. The portal consolidates the facilities available entrepreneur
profiles, policies and projects of BioNEST at Panjab University. BioNEST
is a platform that has taken translational research of PU and North India at a
global platform. The portal will help students know the new opportunities and
can avail them at BioNEST, Panjab University.
