सभी ग्रामीण आपका ध्यान आकर्षित करना चाहते है कि जबसे यूटी बनी है तभी से प्रशासन लाल डोरा के बाहर छोटे-छोटे प्लाटों की रजिस्ट्री करता आ रहा हैयह जानते हुए भी की इतने छोटी जगह पर खेती-बाड़ी नहीं हो सकती है। लाल डोरा के बाहर हर किसी प्रकार का निर्माण अवैध है लेकिन इसके बावजूद यह सब कुछ होता रहा और प्रशासनिक अधिकारी सोते रहे। ग्रामीण आज यह पूछ रहे है की :-
1. अगर छोटे प्लाटों में खेती-बाड़ी नहीं हो सकती है तो इनकी रजिस्ट्रीया क्यों की गयी?
2. जब लोग इन प्लाटों पर मकान बना रहे थेतब निर्माणों को उसी समय क्यों नहीं रोका गया?
3. जब मकान बनकर तैयार हो गए तब बिजली-पानी के कनेक्शन क्यों दिए गए?
4. यदि यह सब कुछ अवैध थातो प्रशासन ने यहाँ रहने वालों के वोटराशन कार्डआधार कार्ड क्यों बनवाये?
5. ये सारी मूलभूत सुविधाएँ देने के बाद क्या यह नहीं समझा जाये कि इन बसे हुए लोगों को मान्यता दे दी गई है?
प्रशासन खुद कुम्भकर्णी नींद सोता रहा और आज उन्हें कोई नैतिक अधिकार नहीं है कि खून पसीने की कमाई से बनाये गरीबों के मकान ढहाए जाए जो  की उनके साथ धक्काशाहीअन्याय और अत्याचार हो रहा है और इसे तुरंत रोका जाए। साथ ही इसका स्थाई समाधान किया जाए|
    महोदय  अगर यह सब अवैध निर्माण होता रहा है तो समय- समय पर रहते सम्बंधित अधिकारी कहा थेउनकी जवाबदेही तय कर उनके खिलाफ भी आपराधिक मामला दर्ज किया जाएजिन्होंने यह सब होने दिया।

The students of Special Cell, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh visited the School Library on 4th May, 2018, with the Special Educator Ms. Geeta Bajaj. The Librarian Ms. Anju Verma welcomed them to the Library and briefed them about the types of books and the collection available in the library. She also informed them about the Issue and Return policy of the library and encouraged them to read the books of their interest.
 Several short answer type questions were asked from the students to reinforce the topic. Such visits go a long way to enhance the interest of the students in the library and also make them feel an integral part of the society.

Investiture Ceremony was held in ‘Petals’ (the primary wing of PML S D Public School). The cabinet members were presented Badges and saches of Captain and Vice Captain. Abhey Sain and Tanishka were selected Head Boy and Head Girl respectively, Principal Mrs. Monica Sharma, motivated them to excel both in studies and in their duties. The cabinet was also introduced to all the classes and house meeting was conducted to explain their roles.

In an effort to make the young generation diligent and confident and to inculcate the values of responsibility in them, an Investiture Ceremony of the school cabinet of the Senior Secondary wing of PML S D Public School, Sector-32, Chandigarh was held during a special assembly at the school premises – Head Girl, Head Boy, Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl  alongwith other members of the cabinet were sworn in the presence of Principal Mrs. Monica Sharma, Samarbir Singh and Vanshika Mehra of Class-XII were elected as Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. The selected members also took an oath to abide by the school rules in carrying out the responsibilities conferred to them. Students were also told to co-operate with the cabinet members to maintain discipline in the school.

"The contribution of Shiv Kumar Batalvi to the literary scenario of Punjab is unmatched and unparalleled and would remain etched in the golden words because they have left indelible impressions on the sands of time." These views were expressed by the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister, Punjab, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu yesterday late evening at the Punjab Kala Bhawan on the occasion of ' BIRHA DA SULTAN-A Musical tribute to Shiv Kumar Batalvi'. The minister said that the mesmerizing words penned by Shiv Batalvi echo everywhere and every soul can relate to them as they have deep connection with each emotion of human life.
Divulging more, the minister said that the Punjab's history is replete with those who have contributed immensely to the beauty of its literature and now, the Punjab Kala Parishad would take a lead in keeping alive their memory by installing statues of 5 such eminent personalities. He also said that this novel beginning is proposed to be made from 6th May i.e. the death anniversary of Shiv Batalvi. The minister further said that Shiv Batalvi would always be with us in the form of his songs. On the occasion, prominent singer Rinku Kalia regaled the audience with her par excellence rendition of the songs penned by Shiv Batalvi with some of them being 'Ik kudi jihda naam muhabbat gum hai,' 'Mayein ni Mayein mein ik shikra yaar banaya', 'Bhatthi waaleye chamber diye daaliye, peeran da paraga bhunn de', 'Ajj din chareya tere rang warga', 'Mainu tera shabab lai baitha' and 'Mere dilan deya mehrama'. The better half of Shiv Batalvi- Mrs. Aruna Shiv Batalvi and Prof Kuldeep Kaur Tiwana, Wife of Late Prof Rajpal Singh were honoured on the occasion by Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu and the Chairman of the Punjab Kala Parishad Padamshri Dr. Surjit Patar. On the occasion Mr. Sidhu and Rinku Kalia were also felicitated. Prominent among those present included famous Punjabi writer Ninder Ghugianvi, Dr. Nirmal Jaura and Deepak Sharma Chanarthal.
