चंडीगढ़ फरवरी का दिन था जब पूरा भारत
प्यार का दिन मना रहा था ।
अचानक सारी ख़ुशी गायब हो गई जब आतंकवादियों ने फुलवामा पर हमला किया और 40 से ज्यादा भारतीय
सैनिक मारे गए । इस हमले का बदला लेने के लिए भारतीय वायु
सेना के बहादुर सैनिकों ने 26 फरवरी 2019 को एक वायु स्ट्राइक की । टी ओ बी(टैलेंट ऑन बोर्ड) ने एक गीत
ञ्चएक भारत- सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक-2 बहादुर
सैनिकों को समर्पित किया । इस
गीत को जे एस एल सिंह और बलजिंदर सिंह महंत ने गाया है । बलजिंदर सिंह महंत
ने इस गीत को लिखा और संकल्पित किया है ।
इस गीत का संगीत और कम्पोजि़शन दी है जे एस एल सिंह ने । इस गीत के बारे में अपने
विचार पेश करते हुए बलजिंदर सिंह महंत ने कहा, "मैं एकता में बहुत ज्यादा विश्वास रखता
हूँ कि अगर हम सब एक साथ हैं तो हम किसी भी चीज़ से लड़ सकते हैं । यहां मैं हमारे
गाने की कुछ लाइन कहना चाहता हूँ, "मिलकर चमकेंगे तो दुश्मन हमको देख ना पाएगा" इस गाने
से पहले भी मैंने कई देश भक्ति के गीत किये हैं जैसे “लव इंडिया”,”आज़ादी”,
“वनड्रीमवननेशन,
“सलाम हक़ से” (पहली सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक के मौके पर)"। "यह सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक पूरे भारत के लिए
बहुत ही गर्व की बात है । इस मनोरंजन जगत का हिस्सा होने के नाते हम इस मौके को उन
फौजियों को सलाम करते हैं जो हमेशा हमारे लिए हैं । भले ही यह गीत हमने मुंबई हमले
के दौरान बनाया था पर यह गीत आज भी बिलकुल उचित है जैसे आज भी हम वैसे ही उन सब के
खिलाफ एक साथ खड़े हैं जो हमारे देश पर बुरी नजऱ रखते हैं । यह गीत किसी के भी
खिलाफ नहीं है ना ही इसमें किसी की निंदा की गयी है । हम इस गीत के साथ सिर्फ उन
शहीदों को श्रदांजलि भेंट करना चाहता हूँ," उन्होनें आगे कहा । गायक और संगीत
डायरेक्टर जे एस एल सिंह ने कहा, "इस गीत के बोल बहुत ही जबरदस्त और दिल को छू लेने वाले हैं ।
इस तरह के प्रोजेक्ट जिनका कुछ मतलब हो या कोई सन्देश हो,
बहुत ही संतुष्टि देता है । मैं बहुत ही
खुश हूँ कि मुझे इस गीत का हिस्सा बनने का मौका मिला । मैं सिर्फ उम्मीद करता हूँ
कि लोग इस गीत को सुने और अपना साथ दें ।" यह गीत टी ओ बी गैंग के ऑफिशल

organized a Lecture-cum-workshop for science students on the topic “Science and
Magic” by Prof. Anil Kumar from IIT, Bombay. Professor Kumar had a close interaction with
students and made them realise that a keen observation and logical
thinking/reasoning is the real meaning of a scientific temperament. He
performed several interesting activities and used visual aids which kept the
students involved throughout the workshop. He also encouraged them to revisit
the curricula of their foundation classes and clear fundamentals. About 300
postgraduate and undergraduate students attended the workshop.

Chandigarh Housing Board conducted a
computerized numbering draw of Small Flats Scheme, 2006 for the eligible
beneficiaries. The list of eligible beneficiaries was forwarded by the
Estate Officer, UT, Chandigarh and thereafter the beneficiaries were asked to
submit requisite documents and applicable fees/charges to the CHB. Total
2390 beneficiaries completed this process despite repeated opportunities. The
draw was held in fair and transparent manner under the supervision of senior
officers deputed from the different departments of the Chandigarh
Administration. For this purpose software was prepared by the NIC, UT,
Chandigarh. The whole process was witnessed by the huge number of beneficiaries
who reach the draw venue at Kissan Bhawan, Sector-35, Chandigarh. 79
beneficiaries having physically handicapped persons in their families were allotted
Ground Floor Flats and the remaining 2311 allottees were allotted flats at
difference floors including Ground Floor Flats. The process of the draw
was displayed live on the five big screens provided at the venue. Four
counters were provided so that beneficiaries can inquire about specific flat
number allotted to them. Further the result of the draw was circulated on
the WhatsApp Group for better and immediate outreach to the public. The result
of the draw has been uploaded on the website of CHB i.e. www.chbonline.in. The allotment letters to 2390 allottees mentioning the specific flat
number allotted to them will be issued in next few days. The process of
handing over the possession is also being undertaken and specific dates will be
announced shortly. To ensure that there is no inconvenience to the
allottees the possession of flats will be handed over in the batches to
minimize the rush at the site. The beneficiaries whose name were recommended by
the Estate Officer, UT but could not be included in the draw because of
non-submission of required documents or non-deposit of fees/charges to CHB will
be given one more opportunity by organizing special camps.

‘Youth has the power to change anything and can

poverty and drug free society’ said Sh. Manpreet Singh Badal, Hon’ble
Finance & Planning Minister, Government of Punjab at the
National Conference organized by Centre for the Study of Social
Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, on Electoral
Strategy of Political Parties in the forth coming Lok Sabha Elections,
here today. The Hon’ble Minister addressed the youth as the next
generation of the country and urged them to collectively take the nation
to great heights irrespective of the language, creed, colour, caste and
religion. He added that it’s time to give back to the nation by making
all efforts for securing a honourable place in the community of nations
for India. Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Minister of technical Education,
Punjab was the Guest of Honour during this event. In the valedictory
session, he said that connection with people plays a very important role
in electoral strategies in any elections. He also appealed to the youth
to participate in political activities because it is the youth who can
give a new direction to Indian Politics. Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice
Chancellor, PU in his welcome address expressed gratitude on his behalf
and on behalf of PU fraternity with respect to recent enhancement of 6
percent annual budget to the University. He appreciated the Hon’ble
Minister for his willingness to help PU and its constituent colleges. He
informed that already a proposal worth Rs.50 crores has been submitted
for building maintenance. The keynote speaker Prof. Zoya Hasan from JNU,
Delhi said that the BJP has come to the centre stage of the Indian
electoral scene.Through its policies the BJP is replacing the pluralist
democracy with majoritarian democracy. She said that it is a matter of
concern that the incumbent government is trying for complete take over
of political, social, cultural and intellectual space. She suggested the
coalition of political parties can put up a strong resistance to this
hegemony politics. Prof. Sanjay Kumar, Director, Centre for the Study of
Developing Societies (CSDS), New Delhi while addressing the seminar
focused that how ideology, money and caste community effect electoral
behaviour in India. He added that national and regional elections use
different strategies. Prof. A.S. Narang in his valedictory address
said that regional parties are gaining significance in current electoral
scenario. He also cautioned that politics based on populism is taking
precedence over issues of public importance. Prof. Emanual Nahar,
the coordinator of the conference, informed that many renowned scholars
namely Prof. Mujibur Rehman, Prof. A.D. Mishra, Dr. Sanjiv Kumar, Prof.
Khalid Mohamed, Dr.Mudrain from different universities presented their
very insightful papers during this conference.

Appreciating the announcements made
in Haryana Budget 2019-20 presented by Captain Abhimanyu, Hon’ble Finance
Minister, Haryana, Mr Jasmohan Singh, Chairman, CII Haryana State Council &
MD, Frick India Ltd said that CII The budget is in sync with the Vote on
Account presented by Mr Piyush Goyal. Mr Singh congratulated the State
Government for presenting a good budget. No new taxes are introduced in this
state budget which is a welcome move. CII also welcomes Government of Haryana’s
decision to launch State Logistics Warehousing & Retail Policy, he said.
CII has submitted a number of recommendations and also organised stakeholder
consultations for the policy. Mr Singh expressed his happiness over Haryana’s
performance in the Ease of Doing Business Index and mentioned that the
Government’s efforts in formulating and implementing “New Enterprise Promotion
Policy 2015” are yielding desired results. Speaking on the announcements made
for the agriculture sector, Mr Singh said that the State’s vision to transform
the agriculture sector completely by diversifying the focus from conventional
crops to horticulture crops to animal husbandry and fisheries in the coming
years and making these sectors holistic, integrated, progressive and futuristic
is a welcome move.

प्रसिद्ध निर्देशक / अभिनेता / लेखक विजय कपूर के निर्देशन में शंकर शेष का कालजयी
नाटक 'रक्तबीज' को 25 फरबरी को टैगोर थिएटर चंडीगढ़ में शाम 6 बजे प्रस्तुत करेगा ।
यह नाटक हरियाणा कला परिषद, सांस्कृतिक कार्य विभाग, चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन, कोर पीआर और
वेलकिन द्वारा समर्थित है । रक्बीज का नाटक, मानव के अंदर के राक्षसों से निपटता
है, जो इसके लिए चाहे जितनी कीमत चुकाएँ, सब कुछ हासिल करना चाहते हैं। वे अपने जीवन
साथी के सपनों और संवेदनशीलता को रौंदने की हद तक भी जा सकते हैं। दुष्ट दानव
रक्बीबीज के रक्त की बूंदों की तरह यह ज़हर फैलता ही जाता है। कथानक मोटे तौर पर
हत्या और आत्महत्या पर आधारित है और दर्शकों को दो जोड़ों के जीवन के माध्यम से

प्लेस शुरू करने की एक महत्वाकांक्षी योजना की घोषणा की है । यहां यह उल्लेख करना
उचित होगा कि भारत में उद्योग की आपूर्ति और मशीनरी के बाजार का आकार 400-450
मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर है । यह अनूठा बी 2 बी प्लेटफॉर्म उपकरण, भवन निर्माण
हार्डवेयर, इलेक्ट्रिकल और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं औद्योगिक आपूर्ति संबंधी उत्पाद
प्रदान करेगा । प्रारंभ में लगभग 10-12,000 उत्पाद पंपकार्ट पोर्टल के मेन्यू पर
होंगे । अप्रैल 2019 तक, उत्पादों की संख्या 50,000 को छू लेगी । 'हमारा उद्देश्य
औद्योगिक उत्पादों के लिए भारत का सबसे बड़ा बाजार स्थल बनना है । इसे प्राप्त
करने के लिए हमारे पास योजना है और जगह भी उपलब्ध है । हम अगले वर्ष (2020) के
मध्य तक प्रोडक्ट पोर्टफोलियो को 1 लाख से अधिक तक ले जाने वाले हैं । अभी तक कोई
भी कंपनी औद्योगिक उत्पादों में इस तरह का मार्केट प्लेस बनाने में सक्षम नहीं रही
है । पम्पकार्ट सभी तरह के उपकरणों, इलेक्ट्रिकल्स, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, हार्डवेयर,
निर्माण सामग्री, हैंड टूल्स, सुरक्षा उपकरण, पम्प, वाल्व, तेल, लुब्रीकेंट्स और
औद्योगिक उत्पादों की पूरी रेंज की थोक बिक्री करेगी । पम्पकार्ट 1000 से अधिक
ब्रांडों को कवर करने वाले इन सभी उत्पादों के लिए वन स्टॉप-शॉप होगी । यह 90
दिनों का क्रेडिट और पम्पकार्ट की सेवाएं भी प्रदान करेगी, ' के
एस भाटिया, संस्थापक व सीईओ, पम्पकार्ट ने कहा । पम्पकार्ट ने उत्पादों की आपूर्ति
के लिए शुरू में कुछ बड़ी कंपनियों के साथ ही टाई अप करने का इरादा किया है, ताकि
ग्राहकों को उचित सेवाएं प्रदान की जा सकें, जो कि होलसेलर्स, रिटेल विक्रेता,
उद्योग, बिल्डर, कॉरपोरेट आदि जैसे खरीदार होंगे । 'हमने इस क्षेत्र में अब तक 12
सेवा केंद्र खोले हैं और अप्रैल 2019 के मध्य तक यह संख्या बढ़ाकर 25 कर दी जाएगी,
जिससे हमें पंजाब, हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़ और बद्दी के सभी औद्योगिक शहरों में अपनी
उपस्थिति बनाने में सहूलियत होगी । ग्राहकों को सर्विस बैकअप हमारी यूएसपी होगी,
क्योंकि इस प्रकार की पेशकश बी 2 बी ई कॉमर्स स्पेस में उपलब्ध नहीं है, ' भाटिया
ने कहा । उल्लेखनीय है कि केएस भाटिया ने 2014 में चंडीगढ़ में पम्पकार्ट की
शुरुआत की थी। पम्पकार्ट तेजी से बढ़ रहा है और एक अवार्ड विनिंग स्टार्ट अप है,
जिसे 2015 में गूगल ने भी सराहा था । पम्पकार्ट की कल्पना उचित बाजार मूल्य पर
किसानों को पम्प प्रदान करने और कृषि क्षेत्र की समस्या हल करने के लिए की गयी थी ।
इस उद्यम ने पम्प और क्वालिटी सर्विस प्रदान करके भारतीय उद्योगों को सेवाएं
प्रदान कीं । पम्पकार्ट अब किसानों, रिटेलर्स और उद्योगों के बीच एक भरोसेमंद नाम
है । कंपनी बी बी ई कॉमर्स इनीशिएटिव के माध्यम से एक बड़ी छलांग लगाने के लिए इस
बिजनेस गुडविल का उपयोग करेगी । उद्योगों, पीएसयू, खुदरा विक्रेताओं आदि की खरीद
प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाने के इरादे से, पम्पकार्ट अपने नए अवतार में एक आमंत्रण
आधारित बी 2 बी ई-कॉमर्स प्लेटफॉर्म होगा । पम्पकार्ट का उद्देश्य पंजाब, बद्दी और
हिमाचल प्रदेश के अन्य क्षेत्रों में अपने मजबूत औद्योगिक और खुदरा नेटवर्क के लिए
समाधान और सेवाएं प्रदान करना है । यह अपने कवरेज और नेटवर्क को पूरे भारत में
फैला रहा है, ताकि खरीदारों को देश भर में उत्पाद बेचे जा सकें और उनकी सेवा की जा
सके ।

that we Indians have forgotten the contribution of our great scientists and
mathematicians, which has made India and laggard in many spheres. There is a
need today to encourage scientific temper and patriotic fervor amongst people,
not as a one day celebration on the independence or republic day but everyday,
he said.

14th विंटर नेशनल थियेटर फेस्टिवल की 27 वीं
शाम को नृत्य गुरु "श्रीमती सुचित्रा मित्रा जी के जीवन के सफर के नाम रही । श्रीमती
सुचित्रा मित्रा वो शख्सियत हैं जो अपनी जड़ों से जुड़े रहने में विश्वास रखती है। इनका जन्म और मध्यम शिक्षा असम में पूरी हुई ,8
वर्ष की उम्र में इन्होंने अपनी बड़ी बहन को देखकर नृत्य करने का प्रयास किया और फिर
अपनी ग्रेजुएशन के साथ साथ ही उन्होंने 10 वर्ष तक भरतनाट्यम नृत्य सीखा और इसके बाद
स्कॉलरशिप स्कॉलरशिप पाकर कलाक्षेत्र मद्रास चली गई । वहां जाकर जानी मानी हस्ती श्रीमती रुकमणी देवी
जी से नृत्य सीखा भरतनाट्यम सीखा । युवा कलाकारों
का प्रोत्साहन बढ़ाते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि जो लगन और श्रद्धा से अपना काम करते हैं
वह जीवन में सफल होते हैं और पूरी एकाग्रता से किया हुआ काम हमेशा याद रहता है । श्रीमती
सुचित्रा देवी एक काम को एक समय में करने में विश्वास रखते हैं ,जिससे कि कला में निखार
आ सके । उन्होंने अपने जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते
हुए कहा कि उन्होंने अलग-अलग नृत्य को अलग अलग समय पर सीखा इसलिए आज उन्हें सभी नृत्यों
का स्पष्ट जान है और इसीलिए वे भरतनाट्यम, कथकली, असामी और मणिपुरी इत्यादि नृत्यों
में विभिन्नता और इनकी विशेषता को पहचानती हैं । यह अपनी पेशकश में सिर्फ एक तरह के
नृत्य तक सीमित नहीं रहती बल्कि प्रस्तुति को स्क्रिप्ट कॉन्टेंट की मांग के अनुसार
विभिन्न नीतियों का उपयोग करके एक बेहतर प्रस्तुति तैयार करती हैं ।

Stepping Stones School, Sector 38-A, Chandigarh,
celebrated its 35th Annual Function of the junior wing today at the School
Premises. Recitation of poem by the Play School, Pre-Nursery and KG class
children and plays preformed by the Nursery & Kindergarten group were much
appreciated. The little feet of four &five yearolds doing Bharat Natyam and
River Dance was given a standing ovation by the audience. The various plays
enacted by the students of Nursery and Kinder Garten students were value
oriented and gave messages of cleanliness, love and kindness to nature. The
efforts of children and staff were appreciated by all and the success of the
function oragnised was evident from the participation and positive feedback
received from parents.

चण्डीगढ़ के विभिन्न वर्गों के बुद्धिजीवियों से रूबरू होने और प्रधानमंत्री
नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार द्वारा किये गये विकास के कार्यों को उनके समक्ष रखने हेतु
भारतीय जनता पार्टी चण्डीगढ़ द्वारा सैक्टर 37 के लॉ भवन में प्रबुद्ध नागरिक सम्मेलन
का आयोजन किया गया । इस सम्मेलन में पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता डॉ. संबित पात्रा
ने मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में भाग लिया। सम्मेलन में पार्टी के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष संजय टंडन,
सांसद किरण खेर, प्रदेश महासचिव चन्द्रशेखर मंच सांझा किया और मंच का संचालन प्रदेश
प्रवक्ता धीरेन्द्र तायल ने किया। इस अवसर आये हुए अतिथि का स्वागत पंजाब पुलिस के
पूर्व डीजीपी पी सी डोगरा ने किया कार्यक्रम शुरू होने से पहले पुलवामा में शहीद हुए
देश के 40 जवानों को 2 मिनट का मौन रख श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की । उन्होंने बताया कि कार्यक्रम
में चण्डीगढ़ से डॉक्टर, इंजीनियर, अध्यापक, वैज्ञानिक, सीए, वकील, रिटायर्ड आईएस,
आईपीएस, व्यापारी, उद्योपति, बैंकिंग आदि आदि क्षेत्र के बुद्धिजीवियों ने इसमें भाग
लिया । डॉ. पात्रा ने नरेन्द्र मोदी के परिश्रम, मेहनत, पुरूषार्थ के विभिन्न उदाहरण
देते हुए कहा कि जिस व्यक्ति ने गरीबी
से उठकर और तमाम प्रकार की बाधाओं को पार करके प्रधानमंत्री की कुर्सी तक पहुंचे और
देश को विश्व पटल पर प्रथम स्थान पर ले जाने की मंशा रखने वाले प्रधानमंत्री और जो
अपने और अपने परिवार के हितों को दरकिनार कर अपना जीवन देश के प्रति समर्पित करे ऐसे
अध्यातन की शक्ति को करोड़ों लोगों के तप का घेरा एक अदभूत शक्ति प्रदान करता है, उसी
प्रकार प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी तमाम विरोध के चलते भी अपने ध्यय की प्राप्ति के
लिए दिन-रात लगे हुए हैं। उन्होंने पुलवामा घटनाक्रम पर तमाम विपक्षी दलों द्वारा की
जा रही ओछी बयानबाजी पर खेद व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि विपक्षी दलों की इस प्रकार की कार्यवाही
से सभी देशवासियों का सिर शर्म से झूक रहा है । केन्द्र सरकार की पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ
की जा रही कार्रवाही को समर्थन देने की बजाये विपक्ष बेबुनियाद की बात करके शहीदों
का अपमान कर रहा है। यह विडम्बना ही है कि देश में अराजकता की बात करने वाले तथाकथित
कुछ मीडिया के लोग शहीदों की जाति पूछ कर उनके परिजनों को भी अपमानित करने से गुरेज
नहीं कर रहे हैं । यह सब किसकी शह से हो रहा है देश की जनता भलिभांति जानती है । डॉ.
पात्रा ने मोदी सरकार की उपलब्धियों के बारे में चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि वर्ष 2013 से
पहले देश की अर्थव्यवस्था चरमरा गई थी । उस समय हमारे देश को कमजोर श्रेणी में रखा
गया था और केन्द्र में मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद देश फैबलस फ्यू की श्रेणी में खड़ा
हो गया है । आज देश की जीडीपी वर्ष 2013 के बाद से लेकर अब तक 7.4 औसत रही और जबकि
मंहगाई दर 4.2 औसत रही है। पिछली सरकार के कार्यकाल के दौरान भ्रष्टाचार चरम सीमा पर
था। बिचोलियों का बोलबाला था जबकि मोदी सरकार ने आते ही देश के अंदर भ्रष्टाचार को
खतम करने के लिए 2 महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय, नोटबंदी और जीएसटी को लागू किया । इससे काले
धन पर तो अंकूश लगा ही और साथ में देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में बढ़ोतरी हुई । इतना ही नहीं
पिछली सरकार के समय में सात किलो मीटर प्रति दिन के हिसाब से सडक़ों का निर्माण होता
था जोकि अब 27 किलो मीटर प्रति दिन सडक़ निर्माण होना शुरू हो गया है। देश की आजादी
के 70 वर्षों तक बिजली से वंचित रहे 18 हजार गाँवों को रोशनीमय किया । इस अवसर पर पार्टी
के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष संजय टंडन ने केन्द्र सरकार की उपलब्धियों के बारे में बताते हुए
कहा कि ऐसा पहली बार हो रहा है कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी लोगों के सुझावों को लेकर अपना
घोषणापत्र तैयार करने जा रही है जबकि दुसरी ओर सभी विपक्षी दल अपने अपने परिवार के
सदस्यों के हितों को ऊपर रख कर अपना रोड़ मेप को तैयार करती है । उन्होंने कहा कि विकास
की इस लहर में चण्डीगढ़ वासियों को भी काफी फायदा हुआ है और लोगों का भी यही विश्वास
है कि देश का नेतृत्व करने का ढंग केवल और केवल प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के पास
है इसलिए वर्ष 2019 में भी देश की जनता नरेन्द्र मोदी को अपना प्रधानमंत्री देखना चाहती
है । स्थानीय सांसद किरण खेर ने भी उपस्थित लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने संसद में चण्डीगढ़
वासियों के हितों के लिए सदा अपनी आवाज उठाई और यह परिणाम है कि आज चण्डीगढ़ में भी
मेडिकल की सीटों में बढ़ोतरी हुई और इतना ही नहीं आज यदि कोई भी सडक़ दुर्घटना हो तो
ऐसे में घायल व्यक्ति को लाने वाले पुलिस से न तो पूछताछ करेगी और साथ ही किसी भी हस्पताल
में उसका निशुल्क ईलाज किया जायेगा ऐसा चण्डीगढ़ में ही लागू हुआ है ।
