Police arrested Deepak Pahusa R/o # 985, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh from near
Railway Line, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 15
quarters of country made liquor on 02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 61-1-14
Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later he bailed out.
Investigation of the case is in progress. Chandigarh Police arrested Narinder
Kumar R/o # 1976, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh from near Mandi Ground, near
Masjid, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 15 quarters of
country made liquor on 02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 111, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act
has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later he bailed out. Investigation of
the case is in progress. Chandigarh Police arrested Jitender R/o # 4941/3,
Sec-38/West, Chandigarh age 30 yeras and Raju R/o # 4944/3, Sec-38/West,
Chandigarh age 19 years from H.No. 4941/3, Sec-38/West, Chandigarh while
illegally possessing 146 quarters and 38 bottles of country made liquor on
02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 46, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in
PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later they bailed out. Investigation of the case is in
progress. Chandigarh Police arrested Bittu @ Golly R/o # 2060, DMC, Chandigarh
age 30 years from his residence while illegally possessing 274 quarters, 40
halves and 58 bottles of country made liquor on 02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 47,
U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he
bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. Action against Gambling/Satta Chandigarh Police
arrested Mohit R/o # 610, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh while he was
playing satta near Local Bus Stand, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigargh on
02.04.2019. Total cash Rs. 960/- was recovered from his possession. In this
regard, a case FIR No. 112, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in
PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. One arrested under NDPS Act Crime Branch of Chandigarh
Police arrested Kapil Sharma R/o # 413, Krishna Enclave, Dhakoli, Mohali (PB)
from road Poultry Farm Chowk to Ram Darbar, near Power Grid, Ph-2,
Ind. Area, Chandigarh and recovered 10.12 gram Heroin from his
possession on 02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 109, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been
registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. MV Theft Sandeep R/o # 1608, Small Flats,
Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen
away complainant’s Splendor M/Cycle No. CH-01BC-8561 parked near his
residence on 01.04.2019. A case FIR No. 48, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in
PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. Burglary Dr. R.C Gupta R/o # 2148,
Sector-21, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs.
18000/-, two Silver Glasses, two head lights, 10 taps, Computer Accessories,
drill machine and some house old items from his residence on the night
intervening 01/02-04-2019. A case FIR No. 43, U/S 380, 457 IPC
has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in
progress. Theft Sanjay Kumar R/o # 951, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh
reported that unknown person stolen away stolen away two mobile phones and cash
Rs 20,000/- from complainant’s house on night intervening 01/02-04-2019. A
case FIR No. 108, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation
of the case is in progress. Snatching A lady resident of Sector 7, Chandigarh alleged that
unknown person snatched away ear ring of complainant from park near CRB Public
School, Sector 7/B, Chandigarh on 02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 74, U/S 379,
356 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is
in progress. Quarrel / Assault A case FIR No. 56, U/S 341,
323, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the
complaint of Ravi Kumar (Tube well operator) R/o #
B-1/1721, Roshan Colony, Old Rajpura, Distt. Patiala
(PB) who alleged that Ramkesh (Tube well operator) R/o
VillageChoti Karoran, Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) beaten
threatened complainant at Tube Well, EWS Colony, Mauli Jagran,
Chandigarh on 27.03.2019. Complainant got injuries and was admitted
in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case.
Investigation of the case is in progress. A case FIR No. 80, U/S 341, 324,
506 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint
of a lady resident of Chandigarh who alleged that her
husband Barinder Kumar R/o # 193, Tin Colony, Sector-52,
Chandigarh stabbed/beaten complainant near H.No. 477, Tin Colony Sec-52,
Chandigarh on 02.04.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted
in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
