Hundreds
from the region thronged the Parade Ground, Sector 17, venue of the 23rd
edition of CII Chandigarh Fair 2018 and made the best of attractive discounts
on a variety of products on the last day of the fair today. The Fair concluded
to an overwhelming response. People could be seen making a beeline till late
evening hours for last minute shopping at the fair. The Fair was organised by
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the 23rd year in a row, with Indian
Oil Corporation Ltd as the Event Sponsor; BSNL as Principal Sponsor and SBI as
associate co-sponsor. The event is being supported by National Small Industries
Corporation Ltd (NSIC).
Shri
V P Singh Bandore, Hon’ble Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh,
had inaugurated the Fair on 26th October. The winner of CII Shop To Win
Contest is Sarbrinder Brar who
won the Bumper prize. The first runner up is Bhupinder
Singh from Mohali and the Second runner up is Rohit Chauhan from
Chandigarh. Visitors made the most of attractive discounts offered by a
majority of stall owners on Diwali gift items, festive decorations, attractive
lights, chandeliers, wall hangings, jewellery, clothes, food items, etc. at the
Fair. “ We look forward to the Fair every year for complete Diwali shopping. The advantage of finding so many options at one spot makes CII Chandigarh Fair irresistible. Right from buying a dress to wear on the biggest festival of the year to shopping for gifts for friends and family, the Fair gives umpteen options to choose from,” said Sunanda Sharma, a resident of Patiala.

दूसरे स्थान पर मोहाली निवासी भूपेंद्र
सिंह तथा तीसरे स्थान पर चंडीगढ़ निवासी रोहित चौहान रहे । दिवाली के मौके पर मेले
में मौजूद स्टॉल मालिकों ने ग्राहकों के लिए उत्पादों पर भारी डिस्काउंट तथा ऑफर

ज्वैलरी, कपड़े, फूड
आईटम आदि की लोगों ने जमकर खरीददारी की । मेले में खरीददारी के लिए आई सुनंदा
शर्मा ने बताया कि वो हर वर्ष दिवाली की खरीददारी के लिए चंडीगढ़ फेयर का इंतजार
करती हैं । उन्होंने कहा कि विभिन्न उत्पादों की इतनी बड़ी रेंज एक छत के नीचे
मिलने के कारण विकल्पों की भरमार होती है जो शॉपिंग को आसान और आरामदायक बनाती है ।
यहां पर आकर न केवल अपने लिए उत्पाद खरीदने का विकल्प होता है बल्कि साथ ही दिवाली
