चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस की सोशल मीडिया सेल द्वारा की गई मीटिंग के पहुंची इंचार्ज रुचिरा चतुर्वेदी, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष प्रदीप छाबड़ा व चेयरमैन यादविंदर मेहतामौजूद  रहेl  चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस सोशल मीडिया की इंचार्ज रुचिरा ने कहा कि आज राजनीति में सोशल मीडिया का अहम रोल हो चुका है सोशल मीडिया केमाध्यम से आप हर व्यक्ति व वर्ग तक अपनी बात पहुंचा सकते है आज भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस ने बीजेपी द्वारा बनाये कांग्रेस के खिलाफ झूठ व दुष्प्रचारके मायाजाल को ध्वस्त कर दिया है  लोग बीजेपी के फैलाये झूठ को समझ चुके है अब इनकीं चार साल की कारगुजारी पर सवाल कर रहे है जिसका जवाबबीजेपी के नेता दे नही पा रहे हैl अध्यक्ष प्रदीप छाबड़ा ने कहा जिस सोशल मीडिया द्वारा झूठ के दम पर बीजेपी ने सत्ता हासिल की आज वो ही सोशलमीडिया के माध्यम से लोग सवाल कर रहे है कि कहाँ है काला धन, कहाँ है 15 लाख रुपये, कहाँ हर वर्ष 2 करोड़ युवाओं को देने वाली नोकरिया, महंगाईकितनी कम हुई आदि यादविंदर मेहता ने कहा देश मे सबसे ज्यादा युवा सोशल मीडिया का इस्तेमाल करते है और देश मे 60% वोटर ही युवा हैl कांग्रेस केनेताओं द्वारा देश पर दी   कुर्बानियां, देश के विकास में उनका योगदान व पार्टी की विचारधारा से जोड़ा जा रहा हैl युवा बीजेपी के झूठी बातों से ऊब चुके है वोदेश का भविष्य राहुल गांधी में देख रहे है और उन्हें प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में देखना चाहते है वहां मौजूद अन्य नेताओं मेंसुनील यादव, हरभजन सिंह, उज्वलभसीन, मयंक पूरी, विकास पाल, मूकेश चौहान, दानिश अली, विनायक बंगीआ, मोहित सूरी आदि थे l

    डा. राजबहादुर गांधी स्मारक भवन में नेचुरोपैथी के छात्रों को डिप्लोमा बांटेगे चंडीगढ़ । गांधी स्मारक भवन द्वारा चलाए जा रहे नेचुरोपैथी के पासआउट छात्रों का दीक्षांत समारोह रविवार 29 जुलाई को आयोजित किया जा रहा है । बाबा फ़रीद विश्वविद्यालय के वाईस चांसलर डा. राज बहादुर छात्र छात्राओं को डिप्लोमा बांटेगे । गांधी स्मारक के अध्यक्ष के के शारदा ने बताया कि दीक्षांत समारोह में 100 के लगभग छात्र छात्राओं को डिप्लोमा देंगे । कार्यक्रम 29 जुलाई को सायं 4 बजे होगा ।

Students and staff of Gian Jyoti Group paid homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of country during freedom movement, Kargil War and thereafter at Martyr’s Pilla in Terrace Garden, Sector-33, Chandigarh. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Teachers of Gian Jyoti Group along with NCC cadets and students paid floral tribute to freedom fighters.

    Chairman Bedi while speaking on the occasion said that Gian Jyoti Group is remembering the hero’s and paying the homage to the freedom fighters to keep their contribution alive for the freedom of the country in the minds of young Indian Citizens.

    Chairman Bedi further added that normally the students come to the college with the great dreams about the future that they are going to achieve, it is essential that they should know their past that the sacrifices have been made by the thousands of martyrs. Only then they can understand the responsibility casted on them. This precious gift of freedom is not small thing they are enjoying. It is because someone sacrificed in one way or other, Chairman Bedi added.

        University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) Panjab University Chandigarh organized tree plantation drive in collaboration with Infosys to celebrate the start of the new academic session 2018-19. Prof Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University Chandigarh inaugurated the tree plantation drive. The VC chancellor while interacting with faculty and staff emphasized the importance of green cover and stressed that everyone should contribute towards cleanliness and maintenance of the campus. He also urged to involve students in the same. 

        Prof A.S. Ahluwalia Secretary to VC, Prof Savita Gupta, Director UIET and Prof Renu Vig also planted saplings on the occasion. The plants were donated by Ms Sunaina Munshi and her team from Infosys. This was the third tree plantation drive conducted within a span of one month at UIET.

The Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association in collaboration with Blood Contributors Club and the High Court Employees’ Union, with the Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Sector -37, Chandigarh organized a blood donation camp yesterday i.e. 25.07.2018 in the Bar Library, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh was received with an overwhelming response with 300 units of blood donated on this special occasion. What was ever more encouraging was the fact that litigants and other visitors to the High Court premises also participated actively in promoting the noble cause. The Blood Donation Camp is always organized under the able guidance of Sh. M.L. Sarin, Sr. Advocate, who himself is also a centurion donor.

     The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Krishna Murari, Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court alongwith his companion Judges Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Palli. Dr. Anmol Rattan Sidhu, President, Sh. Randeep Singh Waraich (Rana), Vice President, Sh. Baltej Singh Sidhu, Honorary Secretary, Ms. Parminder Kaur Chana, Joint Secretary and the entire Executive Committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association also participated actively in furthering such a noble cause by donating blood. The Members of Punjab & Haryana High Court Employees’ Union and the Clerks’ Association also came forward enthusiastically to make the Blood Donation Camp success.

The special feature of the camp this time was that many officers/employees of the Chief Justice’s secretariat and the staff at his residence also donated blood on being encouraged by the Chief Justice and Mrs. Murari. Such Blood Donation Camps are a regular feature in the High Court and the Camps are organized in the High Court premises after every three months.

To transforms girls into leaders through their active engagement a ‘Girls Parliament’, was launched at Kitabghar in Bapudham Colony, Sector 26, Chandigarh. Similarly for those who can’t access newspapers or televisions daily to get news of what’s happening around a ‘NEWS WALL-JUGNU’ was prepared by Girls Parliament members as first step towards inculcating active citizenship and strengthening democracy at local level. These initiatives are supported by Carmel Convent Schools, CESA and Yuvsatta-an NGO.

      A group of 57 adolescent girls voted and selected first five girl parliamentarians for their ‘Girls Parliament’. The chosen ones are Shaina, Simran, Minakshi, Rehnuma & Tulsi. Saba Sharma the programme convenor shared that through Girls Parliament they will also be conducting leadership development programmes and life skills workshops to really empower girls. In addition to academic learning, they also plan to prepare adolescent girls to think and act differently and be prepared to effectively engage in higher education and further endeavors. Sharing her joy Shaina the leaders of Girls Parliament said that ‘for the very first time, we the girls are given a voice and see they have the ability to influence their own lives.’ Rehnuma another elected member of Girls Parliament said that through there News Wall they plan to daily share news stories of local, national and international importance with general public and will also be reading them aloud to other girls and those who are illiterate. Sr. Mary Supreeta, Principal of Carmel Convent School added that through such initiatives children become confident and this leads them to become agents of change as they advance in school and life.

The first ever Chandigarh Golf Club Power drive Open Challenge will be conducted at the club on 5^th August, Sunday. This Long Drive Championship is very common worldwide but this concept is at its infancy in India. This first ever Championship is the Brainchild of club President Birinder Singh Gill who said “we all strive to hit the ball long and Chandigarh historically has produced a number of professionals who have also consistently been one the longest hitters of the ball. So we decided to start this championship with the idea to popularize this concept and also to create awareness of the importance of distance in golf. This long drive Championship is open to Members and Non-Members of the club, Children, Gentlemen, Ladies, Amateurs as well as Professional Golfers”.

The children’s category will have 5 divisions each for boys and girls (A,B,C,D,E), the Gentlemen and Ladies category will also have 5 divisions each (18+, 40+, 60+, 75+, 80+), the Professional category will have one division. Distance markers will be put at every 25 yards starting from 50 yards onwards till 350 yards. For the distance to be counted the ball would have to be in the fairway.

Tee no.10 would be used for all divisions of Gentlemen, Professionals, and A category Juniors. Tee No.1 would be used for all divisions of Ladies, Seniors and category B to E Juniors. Over 150 participants are expected to participate from all over the region. Golf Balls for the championship will be provided to the participants by Chandigarh Golf Club. The prize distribution ceremony will be held at the club on 5^th August itself. Registration for this event to be done at the Chandigarh Golf Club office.

104 साल पहले लगा था .......यह ग्रहण न दिखेगा दोबारा...अगला 2123 को

आज रात लगने वाला  4 घंटे की अवधि वाला चंद्र ग्रहण , 104 साल पहले लगा था और अब 9 जून , 2123 को ही नजर आएगा । इसे  हमारी लगभग चौथी पीढ़ी ही देख पाएगी। यदि वर्षा या बादल हुए तो हो सकता आप आज रात न देख पाएं । 

एक अन्य खगोलीय घटना भी साथ साथ हो रही है। इसके अलावा 31 जुलाई , मंगलवार को मंगल ग्रह , 15 सालों में पहली बार धरती के सबसे निकट होगा । इससे पूर्व 2003 में मंगल , पृथ्वी के काफी निकट था ओर अब 2020 में भी यह हमारे काफी निकट होगा ।

ज्योतिषीय दृष्टि से दोनों खगोलीय घटनाएं धरतीवासियों के लिए अच्छी नहीं हैं ।

ज्हां एक मास में ही  तीन ग्रहण , प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के सूचक हैं वहीं मंगल का पृथ्वी के बहुत निकट आना युद्ध, आतंकी घटनाओं, विस्फोट, प्राकृतिक उथल पुथल, राजनीतिक परिवर्तन का सूचक है। पाकिस्तान में सत्ता परिवर्तन के साथ साथ , भारतीय सीमा पर आतंकी घटनाओं में वृद्धि से इन्कार नहीं किया जा सकता ।

       27 और 28 जुलाई की मध्य रात्रि में लगने वाले चन्द्रग्रहण में करीब 1 घंटे 43 मिनट का खग्रास रहेगा । यह चन्द्रग्रहण शुरू होने से अंत होने तक करीब 4 घंटे का रहेगा । यह चंद्रग्रहण 104 साल बाद बेहद खास है - । यह 21वीं सदी का सबसे लंबा चन्द्रग्रहण होगा। इस चंद्रग्रहण को पूरे भारत में देखा जा सकता है । पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण के दौरान चंद्रमा पृथ्वी की छाया के मध्य हिस्से से होकर गुजरेगा। ग्रहण के दौरान चंद्रमा जब पृथ्वी की छाया से होकर गुजरता है तो वह चमकीले नारंगी रंग से लाल रंग का हो जाता है और एक दुर्लभ घटना के तहत गहरे भूरे रंग से और अधिक गहरा हो जाता है। यही कारण है कि पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण लगता है और उस समय इसे ब्लड मून कहा जाता है।

सेक्टर 29 स्थित साई मंदिर में गुरू पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर 27 जुलाई को साई बाबा की प्रतिमा का इलाहाबाद के त्रिवेणी घाट व गोदावरी नदी के जल से मंगल स्नान करवाया जाएगा । इलाहाबाद से विशेष रूप से लाये गये गंगा, यमुना और सरस्वती के जल से बाबा का जलाभिषेक होगा । इस बार साई बाबा की महासमाधि का शताब्दी वर्ष भी चल रहा है जिस कारण इस बार यह आयोजन खास बन गया है ।
मंदिर कमेटी के प्रधान रमेश कालिया ने बताया कि बाबा का शताब्दी वर्ष चल रहा है । इस वर्ष के महत्व को देखते हुए मंदिर कमेटी ने इलाहाबाद से त्रिवेणी का जल विशेष रूप से लाया गया है । इसके अलावा बनारस व हरिद्वार से भी गंगाजल व नासिक से गोदावरी नदी का जल लाया गया है । 27 जुलाई को प्रात: पौने चार बजे मंदिर के कपाट खुलेंगे । सवा पांच बजे बाबा की कांकड़ आरती होगी । छह बजे त्रिवेणी के जल से पुरुष भक्तों द्वारा बाबा की प्रतिमा को मंगल स्नान करवाया जाएगा । सात बजे बाबा का अभिषेक होगा साढे सात बजे बाबा को भोग अर्पण किया जाएगा । आठ बजे महिला भक्तों द्वारा बाबा को पुष्पाजंलि भेंट की जाएगी । सवा आठ बजे साईं सचित्र का पाठ आरंभ होगा जो सायं छह बजे संपन्न होगा । दोपहर 12 बजे बाबा की आरती के तुरंत बाद 201 बाबाओं को सामूहिक भोज होगा व उन्हें दान दिया जाएगा ।

    साढ़ छह बजे सायं बाबा की धूप आरती के बाद भजन संध्या होगी । प्रसिद्ध भजन गायक पुनीत खुराना बाबा का गुणगान करेंगे। रात्रि साढ़े आठ बजे विशाल भंडारा आयोजित किया जाएगा ।

    The Admission Counselling for four courses of Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), i.e. 4-year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics, 4-Year Advanced Diploma in Die & Mould Making, 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Tool and Die) and 3-Year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with a total intake of 140 seats for the session 2018-2019 was held at ISTC, CSIR-CSIO on 25^th and 26^th July 2018. पंजाब हमेशा से ही इसके रिश्तों की मिठास और गर्माहट के लिए जाना जाता है । हर रिश्ते, प्यार, दोस्ती की इसी ख़ूबसूरती को ब्यान करतीं बहुत सारी फिल्में बनी हैं । बच्चों और माता पिता के प्यार को दर्शाती कई कहानियों ने हमें हंसाया और रुलाया है । पर यह पहली बार है कि कोई फिल्म नानी और दोह्त्रे के रिश्ते पर आधारित हो। यह लघु फिल्म 26 जुलाई 2018 को डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्मों पर रिलीज़ हुई है । एक लघु फिल्म होने के वाबजूद भी इस फिल्म कि अध्भुत स्टार कास्ट में पॉलीवूड के सब से तजरबेकार चेहरे जैसे निरमल ऋषि और गुरप्रीत कौर भंगू शामिल हैं । डायरेक्टर जंगवीर सिंह ने जिन्होंने 22 साल की उम्र में एक किताब लिखी थी कॉन्फेशन, ने ईशर सिंह और रविंदर मंढ़ के साथ इस फिल्म में अभिनय किया है । सिर्फ अदाकारी और डायरेक्शन ही नहीं इस फिल्म की कहानी और स्क्रीनप्ले भी जंगवीर सिंह ने ही लिखा है जिन्होंने डायलाग लिखने में रविंदर मंढ का साथ भी दिया है । इस फिल्म के गीत के बोल लिखे हैं जगजीत इन्दर और जगसीर बाजेवाला ने। गायक जसप्रीत सिंह ने गीत को अपनी आवाज़ दी है । आपको फिल्म के साथ जोड़े रखने वाला संगीत दिया है अर्चित मिलियनट्रिक्स ने । इस पूरे प्रोजेक्ट को प्रोडूस किया है सांझ फिल्म प्रोडक्शन ने ।
        इस मौके पर अनुभवी अदाकारा निरमल ऋषि ने कहा, " मैं इस इंडस्ट्री में पिछले 5 दहाकों से भी ज्यादा समय से हूँ, मैंने हर क्षेत्र में काम किया है चाहे वो थिएटर हो, टेलीविज़न हो या फिल्में। इस बार मैंने एक लघु फिल्म के साथ कुछ नया करने की कोशिश की है। मुझे लगता है कि आज कल के इस रुझान भरे वक़्त मैं इस तरह के प्रयोग करना बहुत ही जरूरी है । शायद लोगों के लिए 2 घंटे निकलकर थिएटर जाना मुश्किल हो । लेकिन ऐसे समय में अगर कोई थोड़े समय में पूरी कहानी बता दे तो इससे अच्छा और क्या हो सकता है । मैं उम्मीद करती हूँ कि दर्शक हमारी इस कोशिश की प्रशंसा करेंगे । "
        गुरप्रीत कौर भंगू ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए बताया, " इस भावनात्मक प्रोजेक्ट पर काम करने का अनुभव बहुत ही अच्छा रहा ।  मुझे खुद लगता है कि यह फिल्म लोगों को उनके रिश्तों की महत्ता समझने में मदद करेगी । यह सिर्फ एक एहसास के बारे में नहीं है बल्कि हर उस इंसानी जज़्बात के बारे में है जो हम हर रोज़ महसूस करते हैं । हमने अपनी तरफ से पूरी कोशिश की है इस प्रोजेक्ट को अच्छा बनाने में । " नानी माँ के लीड एक्टर और डायरेक्टर जंगवीर सिंह ने कहा, " यह प्रोजेक्ट मेरे बच्चे की तरह है । मैंने अपनी पूरी जान लगा दी है । मैं उम्मीद करता हूँ कि लोग इस फिल्म के साथ जुड़ा महसूस करेंगे ।  इसके बिना इन सब तजरबेकार अदाकारों के साथ काम करना उम्रभर के लिए यादगार अनुभव है । मैं कास्ट और क्रू के हर मैंबर का दिल से शुक्रगुज़ार हूँ जिनके सहयोग के बिना यह सब बिलकुल भी संभव नहीं होता ।  अब यह समय है दर्शकों के लिए अपना प्यार दिखाने का । " इस फिल्म को रिलीज़ होने से पहले ही गोवा फिल्म फेस्टिवल में बेस्ट बैकग्राउंड म्यूजिक का अवार्ड भी मिल चुका है और अब यह फिल्म मिलियन स्टेप्स के ऑफिशल यू ट्यूब चैनल पर 26 जुलाई 2018 को रिलीज़ हो गई है ।
