Police arrested Sandeep Kumar @ Kaja R/o # 2889, DMC, Chandigarh, Age 32
Years, while he was using fake registration number CH-01BD-0596 on
stolen Activa Scooter at back side Electricity Office,
Sector-17, Chandigarh on 17-02-2024. The original number of Activa Scooter
is CH-01BU-0596 which was stolen by him from Panjab University. A case FIR No.
19, U/S 471, 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
Assault/Quarrel
A case FIR No. 13, U/S 324, 34 IPC
has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ashish Kundu
R/o Village-Butana, Tehsil Gohana, Distt- Sonipat (HR) Age 22 Years, who
alleged that two persons attacked with beer bottle on complainant and his
friend Harsh Malik at outside of Culture Club, Sector 26, Chandigarh on
17.02.2024. Both were injured and admitted to GMSH-16, Chandigarh.

20, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint
of Rakesh Kumar Sondhi and Rajesh Kumar Sondhi both R/o # 424, Sector-7
Panchkula, HR who alleged that Ashwani Sondhi R/o Same withdrawn Rs 2.20 lakh
through ATM card of their Mother (holder of Account at Canara Bank, NAC,
Manimajra, Chandigarh) after her death on 06-09-2023 without knowledge of other
legal heirs. The investigation of the case is in progress.

17, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime,
Chandigarh on the complaint of Sachin Agarwal R/o # 2289, Aastha Apartment,
Sector-48, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person from fake trading
company KKRMF contacted complainant through telegram app on 10.11.2023 and
cheated Rs. 27 lakh from complainant regarding online trading. The
investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident

07, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the
complaint of Suraj R/o # 1260, Amb Sahib Colony, Ph-11, Mohali, PB who
alleged that unknown driver of car No. CH-02AA-9099 hit M/Cycle NO.
PB-65BE-8538 driven by complainant’s friend Raman at Airport Road near Wine
Shop, Motor Market, Sector-48, Chandigarh on 16.02.2024. Complainant (pillion
rider) and his friend Raman both sustained injuries and were admitted to
GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Later alleged person namely Subham Kumar R/o # 218
Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh Age 21 Years was arrested and bailed out.
