भारतीय सर्वेक्षण विभाग, चण्डीगढ़ द्वारा सर्वे कॉम्पलैक्स, दक्षिण मार्ग, सैक्टर-32ए चण्डीगढ़ में राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस अत्यन्त उत्साह एवं धूमधाम से मनाया गया। इस दिन का विशेष विषय ‘‘विकसीत भारत के लिए स्वदेशी तकनीक’’ था। नीरज कुमार, उप महासर्वेक्षक उत्तरी क्षेत्र कार्यालय, चंडीगढ़ ने इस समारोह का उद्घाटन किया। गौरव कुमार सिंह, अधीक्षण सर्वेक्षक, पंजाब, हरियाणा एवं चण्डीगढ़ जी.डी.सी. व इन्द्रजीत वर्मा, अधीक्षण सर्वेक्षक, हिमाचल प्रदेश जी.डी.सी. भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे और उन्होने बताया कि हमारे दैनिक जीवन में विज्ञान बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस आयोजित करने का उद्देश्य जन समाज में विज्ञान संबंधित नवीनतम जानकारियां पहुंचाना है, जिससे युवा पीढ़ी में जागरूकता आए और हमारे देश के युवा विज्ञान और अनुसंधान में और अधिक रूचि लें। इसके अतिरिक्त नीरज कुमार, उप महासर्वेक्षक, उत्तरी क्षेत्र कार्यालय, चण्डीगढ़ ने अत्याधुनिक तकनीक जैसे कि Drone/UAV द्वारा बड़े पैमाने पर स्वामित्व परियोजना के अन्तर्गत पूरे हरियाणा राज्य और पंजाब राज्य में किये जा रहे डीजिटल मैंपिग के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। भारतीय सर्वेक्षण विभाग के स्टाफ सदस्यों के लिए ‘‘विकसीत भारत के लिए स्वदेशी तकनीक’’ विषय पर हिन्दी और अंग्रेजी में विशेषतौर से निबन्ध प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई, जिसमें क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार निम्नलिखित प्रतिभागियो को प्रदान किए गएः- सुषमा रानी, आशुलिपिक ग्रेड-1, पंजाब, हरियाणा एवं चण्डीगढ़ जी.डी.सी. कुमारी अंजू, एम. टी. एस., उत्तरी क्षेत्र कार्यालय (i) अनिल कुमार सुन्द्रियाल, अधिकारी सर्वेक्षक, हिमाचल प्रदेश जी.डी.सी. करते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सोमवार को प्रीसाइडिंग अफसर अनिल मसीह के खिलाफ एक सख्त
टिप्पणी की। जिससे भाजपा को एक करारा झटका लगा है। कांग्रेस
के पूर्व सांसद पवन कुमार बंसल ने कहा कि गैरकानूनी तरीके से चुने गए मेयर मनोज
सोनकर का इस्तीफा दिलवाकर भाजपा ने नई चाल चली थी, तांकि
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश को टाला जा सके, लेकिन उसे पलट कर
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपनी पवित्रता को बरकरार रखा है। बंसल ने आगे कहा कि आम आदमी
पार्टी के तीन पार्षदों को भाजपा में शामिल करवा कर भाजपा ने फिर से चुनाव जीतने
का राजनीतिक षड्यंत्र रचा था, लेकिन भाजपा की इन
महत्वाकांक्षाओं को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने नाकाम कर दिया।

Chandigarh Police apprehended six
(06) persons in separate cases registered U/S 68-1(B) Punjab
Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC in Police Stations i.e. Ind. Area= 05 and
PS-39=01, while they were consuming liquor at public places on
18.02.2024. Later they were released on bail.
One arrested in theft case
Rahul R/o # 432, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported
that unknown person who stolen away complainant Activa no. CH-01BK-4283 from
near Japanese Garden, Sec. 31 on 17-02-2024. During the investigation, a
person namely Armaan Mani R/o # 1436/2, Sec.29 Chandigarh has been arrested in
this case. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in
PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Assault
A case FIR No. 14, U/S 324, 506 IPC has been
registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ajit R/o #
165, Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran Chandigarh, (age-49 years) who alleged
that Rajesh R/o # 158, Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran Chandigarh,
(age-38 years) who beaten/threatened to complainant near his residence on
16-02-2024. Complainant got injured and admitted to GMCH-32. Accused has
been arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in
progress.
Cheating
A case FIR No. 18, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC
has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the statement
of Mohd. Safiqul Islam R/o SNCOs Mess, 12 Wing, Air force Station, Sec-31,
Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant of Rs. 25,06,083/-
through whatsapp for online investment. Investigation of the case is in
progress.
Snatching
Ram Avadh R/o # 297-A, Sunder Nagar, Mauli Jagran,
Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons who snatched away complainant’s
mobile phone, Rs. 5000/- and Aadhar Card near Sukhna Chow bridge towards
Hallomajra Light Point on 17-02-2024. A case FIR No. 13 U/S 379-A, 34
IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation
of the case is in progress

Years, while he was using fake registration number CH-01BD-0596 on
stolen Activa Scooter at back side Electricity Office,
Sector-17, Chandigarh on 17-02-2024. The original number of Activa Scooter
is CH-01BU-0596 which was stolen by him from Panjab University. A case FIR No.
19, U/S 471, 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
Assault/Quarrel
A case FIR No. 13, U/S 324, 34 IPC
has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ashish Kundu
R/o Village-Butana, Tehsil Gohana, Distt- Sonipat (HR) Age 22 Years, who
alleged that two persons attacked with beer bottle on complainant and his
friend Harsh Malik at outside of Culture Club, Sector 26, Chandigarh on
17.02.2024. Both were injured and admitted to GMSH-16, Chandigarh.

20, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint
of Rakesh Kumar Sondhi and Rajesh Kumar Sondhi both R/o # 424, Sector-7
Panchkula, HR who alleged that Ashwani Sondhi R/o Same withdrawn Rs 2.20 lakh
through ATM card of their Mother (holder of Account at Canara Bank, NAC,
Manimajra, Chandigarh) after her death on 06-09-2023 without knowledge of other
legal heirs. The investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No.
17, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime,
Chandigarh on the complaint of Sachin Agarwal R/o # 2289, Aastha Apartment,
Sector-48, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person from fake trading
company KKRMF contacted complainant through telegram app on 10.11.2023 and
cheated Rs. 27 lakh from complainant regarding online trading. The
investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No.
07, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the
complaint of Suraj R/o # 1260, Amb Sahib Colony, Ph-11, Mohali, PB who
alleged that unknown driver of car No. CH-02AA-9099 hit M/Cycle NO.
PB-65BE-8538 driven by complainant’s friend Raman at Airport Road near Wine
Shop, Motor Market, Sector-48, Chandigarh on 16.02.2024. Complainant (pillion
rider) and his friend Raman both sustained injuries and were admitted to
GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Later alleged person namely Subham Kumar R/o # 218
Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh Age 21 Years was arrested and bailed out.

Bhavan Vidyalaya New Chandigarh hosted ‘Field Day
Fiesta’ as part of the Annual Parents’ Day celebrations for Classes I and II on
Saturday, 17 February 2024, at the school grounds. The event witnessed the participation
of Bhavan’s young athletes showcasing their agility, fitness and team spirit. The
festivities commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Ms. Vineeta
Arora, Director Education cum Senior Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh and
the Guests of Honour Ms. Kunika Sharma, Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya Junior
School, Chandigarh and Ms. Suparna Bansal, Vice Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh
and the parents. The programme commenced with the release of colorful balloons
by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Vineeta Arora, Director Education cum Senior
Principal of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh and Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Principal,
Bhavan Vidyalaya New Chandigarh. The day began with a captivating array of
performances. “Yogic Bliss” a yoga demonstration where the young yogis
mesmerized the audience with their graceful poses and asanas. The infectious
rhythms of “Zesty Zumba” compelled everyone to sway and move, while the “Taekwondo
Tigers” demonstrated their prowess with swift kicks and precise punches. The “Gymnastics
Jamboree” showcased great agility and rhythmic movements of the twisting and
whirling wonders with their colorful hula hoops and their dashing ribbons along
with the gymnasts putting up a great display of somersaults. The ’Sporty
Spectacle” witnessed a display of various sports put up by the young and
enthusiastic sportspersons. Adding to the cultural tapestry of the event, the rhythmic
beats of “Bhangra Beats” infused the atmosphere with vibrant energy and joy as
a grand finale to the field display. Following the extravagant field display,
the students participated in ‘The Last Lap’ as they sprinted through various
races such as the 30-meter sprint race for Class 1, hurdle races for Classes 1
and 2, and relay races for Class 2, with separate categories for boys and
girls. Special fun events like Tug-A-Thon, and Musical Hoops were hosted
especially for the parents. This was followed by the Prize Distribution
Ceremony, where winners and participants were felicitated for their exceptional
performances and sportsmanship. In the Boys 30-meter Sprint for Class 1, Suyash
secured the 1st place, with Aarush and Radhav in the 2nd and 3rd
place respectively. In the Girls Category, Amayra got 1st position, while Misha
and Aadhya attained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In the Boys Hurdle
Races for Class 1, Arth came 1st , with Avijot and Japroop following closely in
2nd and 3rd places respectively. In the Girls Category, Urvi
obtained 1st position while Risha and Aneek secured 2nd and 3rd positions,
respectively. In Class 2, Boys Category, Aviraaz, Avijot, and Samarpratap held
1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In the Girls Category, Saiva, Paavni
and Sanayat earned the first, second, and third positions respectively. In the
Boys Relay Races for Class 2, Team B emerged victorious with the 1st position,
with Team A and Team D in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In the Girls
Category, Team B earned 1st position, with Team D and Team A securing 2nd and
3rd positions respectively. Ms. Vineeta Arora applauded the dedication and
spirit of the young athletes, urging them to pursue sports with passion and
determination. The school principal, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, concluded the program
with an expression of gratitude to one and all, and lauded the efforts of the
students and staff. The program closed with the singing of the National Anthem.

Snatching
Mukesh R/o# 527, Village Kajheri (age-32 years) reported
that two unknown persons ran away after forcibly snatched his purse containing
cash Rs 3000/-, Adhar Card and Pan Card from near #1405, Sec-52/D, Chandigarh
on 14-02-2024. A case FIR No. 20, U/S 379-A, 392, 34 IPC has been registered in
PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
Murder
A case FIR No. 21, U/S 302 IPC has been registered in
PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Kajheri
Chandiagrh (age-22 yrs) who alleged that unknown person who murdered her uncle
namely Ramesh and his mobile phone missing from 13-02-2024 to 15-02-2024.
Investigation of the case is in progress.

that unknown person stole away complainant outer unit of AC from SCO No.
3024, Sec-22/D, Chandigarh on the night intervening 8/9-02-2024. A case
FIR No. 13 U/S 379 IPC added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, UT
Chandigarh. Later on, accused Raju Singh R/o Mansian Wali Basti Firozpur
(Pb) (age-35 yrs) was arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in
progress.
Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh
A case FIR No. 22, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in
PS-11, Chandigarh against President and members of PGI Employee Union who
gathered for protest near Nehru Hospital, PGI Chandigarh. They violated

Aman Kumar R/o # 288, Sec-25, Chandigarh (age-19 years) and Ajay @ Fandi R/o #
2783, Sec-25, Chandigarh (age-26 years) were arrested in this
case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

FIR No. 11, U/S 332, 353 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the
complaint of a lady duty doctor, GMCH-32, Chandigarh against Rajeev Kumar @
Raman R/o # 58, Jogewal Sahid Bhagat Singh Nagar (Pb) age-35 years who quarrel
& physically assaulted to complainant on the night intervening
10/11-02-2024. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajesh Kumar, HSP, DSP/HQ Bhiwani

persons, they given fake documents in high court regarding

पवन कुमार बंसल, पूर्व सांसद, ने चंडीगढ़ यू.टी. प्रशासन के
कि विभिन्न विभागों में काम कर रहे 1200 से
अधिक अनुबंधित कर्मचारियों की सेवाएं समाप्त करने के फैसले की कड़ी निंदा की है
।उन्होंने कहा है कि हर साल 2 करोड़
बेरोजगार व्यक्तियों को नौकरियां प्रदान करने में असफल होना द्वारा सरकार
देश के युवा को कोरा धोखा देने के समान है , साथ
ही,उन अनुबंधित कर्मचारियों जिन्होंने
20 वर्ष तक सेवा की है व अब इस उम्र के पड़ाव में
जीवन में अस्थिरता का सामना कर रहे हैं और
उनके पदों को ही समाप्त करने का फैसले उनके भविष्य पर एक अनिश्चितता व अंधकारपूर्ण है। कहां तो यह युवा अपनी
सेवाओं को रेगुलर होते देख अपनी और अपने परिवार की जीवन यापन को आसान समझ रहे थे
लेकिन उनकी सेवाओं को समाप्त करना उनके जीवन को मझधार में लटकाने के समान होगा, बंसल ने कहा। चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन को इस
पर गंभीरता से विचार करने की आवश्यकता है कि प्रशासन के किसी भी विभाग में काम करने वाले सभी अनुबंधित कर्मचारियों को अतिशीघ्र
नियमित करें।

प्रदान करने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को पूरा करने की दिशा में एक निर्णायक कदम में
उठाते हुए दीपक गोयत, सचिव, पीयूसीएससी और
आईएनएसओ पार्टी के सदस्यों ने सुरक्षा बढ़ाने के लिए पीयू
के साउथ कैंपस, सेक्टर 25 की परिधि के
चारों ओर बाड़ लगाने की वकालत करते हुए डीएसडब्ल्यू अमित चौहान को ज्ञापन सौंपा।
दीपक ने कहा कि लड़कियों की सुरक्षा और भलाई हमारी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है और
हमारा मानना है कि बाड़ लगाने से हमारे दक्षिणी परिसर में संभावित चोरी और अनधिकृत
पहुंच के खिलाफ सुरक्षा की एक अतिरिक्त परत मिलेगी क्योंकि वहां गर्ल्स हॉस्टल
हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बाड़ लगाने से न केवल सुरक्षा बढ़ेगी बल्कि छात्राओं और
कर्मचारियों को गोपनीयता और मानसिक शांति का एहसास भी होगा। यह संभावित घुसपैठियों
के लिए निवारक के रूप में भी काम करेगा और सभी के लिए वातावरण बनाने और सुरक्षित
करने में मदद करेगा। इस पर डीएसडब्ल्यू अमित चौहान ने भी इस मुद्दे से सहमति
जताते हुए आश्वासन दिया कि जल्द ही इंस्टॉलेशन प्रक्रिया शुरू हो
जायेगी।
