Aryans celebrates its 12th Foundation

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh in
association with Chandigarh Tourism today organized a Tree Plantation Drive at
Sector- 42 Lake, Chandigarh. S. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Hon’ble Forest
& Wildlife Minister was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Sh. Jitender
Yadav, IAS, Director Tourism was the Guest of Honour while Dr. Anshu Kataria,
Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.
The
function was organized on the occasion of 12th Foundation Day
of Aryans Group along with the closing ceremony of World Environment Week.
Sadhu Singh after the
tree plantation congratulated the Staff and Management of Aryans Group for
completing 11 Years in Education Sector and stepping into 12th Academic
Year. Minister said it’s a good initiative taken by Aryans to carry out the
Plantation Drive on this day. It is to be mentioned that
Aryans celebrates the birthday of Mrs Rajni Kataria (Co-founder), beloved
mother of Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman & Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director
General of Aryans Group as the Foundation Day every year. Dharamsot
stressed upon the need to protect and save trees, forests and to plant more
trees to ameliorate the environment. He elaborated on the environmental issues concerning
plastic pollution to the climate change and measures to combat climate change
by tree plantation.
Sh. Jitender Yadav
while speaking on the occasion said that Chandigarh is the greenest &
Cleanest City in India. He said that everyone has a responsibility towards
protecting the environment and leave a clean and sustainable environment for
the future generations. He also appealed to minimize use of plastic bags
and replace them with biodegradable carry bags.
Dr. Anshu
Kataria thanked all its stakeholders, professionals, team members etc for their
support in past years. Kataria added that Aryans has constantly added values by
incorporating the best technical practices and philosophies to bridge the gap
between education through books and the practical realities so that the
students are fully equipped to deliver their best.
It is to be mentioned
that Aryans was started with one MBA campus in the year 2007 with once acre
land and 100 students and presently the Group has 21 acre lush green campus and
running 7 different colleges i.e Aryans College of Engineering, Aryans College
of Law, Aryans Business Colleges, Aryans Institute of Management &
Technology, Aryans Degree College, Aryans College of Education, Aryans
Institute of Nursing, Aryans College of Pharmacy.
