FOUNDATION STONE FOR BHAVAN VIDYALAYA, NEW CHANDIGARH

Excellency Shri VP Singh Badnore unveiled the foundation stone for Bhavan
Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh in a felicitous ceremony at the Raj Bhavan today. Esteemed
Chairman of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh Kendra, Shri R.K.Saboo was
present at the Raj Bhavan for the event, while other members of the Management
including Vice Chairman Shri. Jagesh Khaitan, Secretary Shri.
Madhukar Malhotra, Senior Principal Ms. Vineeta Arora, Vice Principal Ms.
Suparna Bansal, Principal Junior Wing Ms. Soma Mukhopadhay and
other members of the Kendra Committee attended it virtually via teleconference.
Speaking on the occasion H.E. Shri. V.P.S. Badnore expressed his deep
appreciation towards
the school’s commitment to education and to shaping the personalities of the youth
of the nation. He commended the indomitable commitment of the school to the
future generations, and in fulfilling their promise to uphold national identity
and ethnicity. He also, hoped that the school construction gains
momentum and is ready to start in no time. Further more he hoped that the new
school would function with the same rigour, and would come to be known as an
institution for holistic nurturing and excellence. The Secretary
Mr. Madhukar Malhotra proposed the vote of thanks and expressed his
gratitude to Shri Badnore for his guidance and appreciation and
hoping that this new beginning would help them in continuing their commitment
towards the community. This new campus at New Chandigarh is the third
under the umbrella of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra, along with the Senior Wing at Sector 27B
and Junior Wing at Sector 33 Chandigarh. The
new campus shall be fully functional from the next academic year 2022-23.
