782 STUDENTS APPEARED FOR MET

University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Panjab
University conducted the Management Entrance Test (MET) on July 25, 2021 (Sunday)
from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon for admission to MBA (sectoral) programmes,
session 2021-22. Prof. V.R. Sinha, DUI, Prof. Jagat Bhushan, Controller of
Examination personally visited each test centre and assured smooth conduct of
tests as per COVID protocol. Prof. Nishi Sharma, Chief-Coordinator of MET
informed that all COVID-19 protocols including social distancing, sanitization
of centres, ensuring masks and thermal scanning were complied with. The MET was
conducted in the five test centres of Panjab University viz. UIET Block-I, UIET
Block-2, UILS, Department of Laws and UIAMS and 782 candidates appeared as
informed by Prof. Monika Aggarwal, Coordinator of MET. Medical personnel were
specially deputed in the health centre, P.U. for possible support. Adequate
security arrangements were also made keeping in view the COVID-situation The
Board of Control members of UIAMS Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Prof. Upasna
Joshi Sethi and Dr. Naveen Kumar was also present.
