CITCO set to celebrate its "48th ANNIVERSARY"

To commemorate the 48 Years of CITCO, Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation is organising weeklong celebrations at its Hotels & Other Units. A plethora of events and activities are planned by CITCO for the patrons, guests, employees of CITCO and the people of Chandigarh. To mark the 48th anniversary, the following activities are being taken up:- Launch of weeklong Cake Fest - Hotel Mountview Patisserie has prepared a tableau  “ Cake on Wheels” which is decorated in the shape of a cupcake to  display the bakery products. The tableau is flagged off by the Worthy Advisor to Administrator, Chandigarh Administration and Chairman CITCO here today . The tableau will move around the city and distribute cakes to regular and prominent patrons .The products of in-house bakery “Mountview Patisserie” will be available for sale at special rates at Sukhna Lake in the evening hours.

CITCO shall be arranging Complimentary Hop on Hop off Bus rides for one week for the kids of Snehalaya  Sector 38 – Boys orphan home  and Aashiana – Girls orphan home in Sector 15 . These kids will be taken around the city for a sightseeing tour in Chandigarh.

Annual calendar of Events for the year 2022-23, highlighting all the major events , activities , food festivals to be celebrated throughout the year by CITCO will be released For promotion of the units CITCO had invited  famous food bloggers of the tricity for   food tasting at its restaurants on March 22nd . The bloggers visited the properties of CITCO and explored the hospitality services extended by the Corporation.The Bloggers fraternity is set to share their experience with their followers from today i.e CITCO foundation Day. Minimum 20% flat discount for a week 28th March to 3rd April, on food and hotel rooms bookings, at all CITCO properties complimentary cakes for guests  who share and celebrate their Birthday on 28th March, coinciding with CITCO day celebrations. CITCO runs 7 petrol pumps in the city.  Gift vouchers for regular customers are being distributed. Customers who purchase fuel at various slabs will be offered vouchers  –30% discount on food in Hotel Mountview for customers who gets the fuel filled @ Rs 3000 , 25% discount on food in Hotel Shivalikview  for customers who gets the fuel filled @ Rs 2000 & 20% discount on food in Hotel Parkview for customers who gets the fuel filled @ Rs 1000 CITCO is also organizing a Harley Davidson road show on the weekend to reach out to more and more residents of Chandigarh. To create bon homie among the members of CITCO family,  Inter Hotel sports competition at Hotel Mountview is being organised which includes relay race, sack race,  tug of war etc, with participation of employees from all units and Hotels

Cultural events will be held wherein employees will be given an opportunity to showcase their talent, it will be followed by felicitation of employees including prizes for various competitions on 29th March CITCO is introducing modified feedback form in all hotels to garner the valuable feedback and experience from the esteemed guests .
