Under the banner of coordination committee of govt and MC employees and workers UT held the Executive body meeting of the Education Department Class D workers union under the chairmanship of Sh Ranjit Mishra President Education department for preparation the convention on 7th June call given by the coordination committee of govt and MC employees and workers UT Chandigarh. Addressing the gathering Sh Ashwani Kumar convener co-ordination committee and told that Chandigarh administration has not implemented the accepted demands of the UT employees so coordination committee decided to hold the convention for chalk out next action of course against Chandigarh administration. 

      Demand are as under -Grant the basic pay plus DA to the daily wage sweepers working under Panchayats department. Revision of DC rate for contractual employees year 2018-19.Revoking the 5 percent ceiling on compassionate appointment. Filling up all vacant posts. Amendment recruitment rules of MC employees. Fix the duty 8 hours chokidars working under schools UT Chandigarh. Central rule centre pay scale for UT employees. Grant the pension benefit to daily wage workers working under rural development department UT Chandigarh. Conductor category may be brought 4th class to 3rd class working on contract basis CTU Deptt.
