DROPS ART GROUP presented a Street play “ Lag
Gayi SALE Dhai Aane” at Railway Station Chandigarh
in which they showed how people spread dirtiness due to their irresponsible behavior
towards society and environment. This show also portrayed how dustbins remain
empty instead of their proper allocation and people don’t even care for what to
throw in these bins. They often throw sharp things like blades, tube lights, and
bottles etc which make it difficult for cleaners or sweepers to clean it. Additionally,
some people even throw sanitary waste and diapers uncovered which causes
various harmful diseases. In the last, sweepers share his painful story and all
take oath “Never spread dirtiness and be
responsible towards clean cleanliness”. Play
was directed by Preeti Jain Name of Performers Jassvir Kumar, Asha
Saklani, Rinku Jain, Jaspal Singh saawan, Lakhwinder Singh, shivani, Manpreet
Singh.
