SAFE FOOD HANDLING PRACTICES AND SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION AT GHSCIENCE

As part of the ongoing celebrations of Poshan Maah, Government
Home Science College organised a slogan writing competition for the support
staff and women trainees in Fashion Designing under NULM at the college campus.
As many as 50 entries were received addressing varied topics of nutrition
ranging from healthy eating to food sources and symptoms of public health
problems such as anemia. A quiz competition was also organised to assess their
knowledge about food safety and safe food handling practices. Keeping this in
mind, a workshop has been planned for the same to ensure intake of safe and
nutritious food for one and all.
