Workshop on “E Learning and Web Rsources”

The Department of Computer Applications and the Department of Library jointly organized a workshop on ” E Learning and Web Resources ” Under the aegis of RUSA. Dr. P. Venkata Rao, fellow (KM), Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab and Dr. Preeti Sharda, Librarian, Regional Institute of English, Chandigarh, were the resource persons for the workshop that was conducted in two sessions of 90 minutes each. They apprised the students about how to develop digital skills to access online media and discussed the use of various open educational resources that help in delivering an array of solutions. A practical demonstration about usage of E-PG Pathashala and National Digital Library was also given. More than 80 students participated enthusiastically. Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Principal, also encouraged students to develop e-learning culture.
