The IAS Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh
commenced with the new batch of the IAS students. The chief guest for the
Inaugural session was Mr. Hussan Lal, IAS, Secretary, PWD, B&R,
Punjab. Mr. Lal encouraged and motivated the students with his words. He
discussed a detailed outline of what is required from the students who have decided
to take this difficult but important course. He shared effective tips with the students
which makes it easier to clear the exam. 5 students from the IAS Centre who
have cleared the PCS Executive exam and one UGC Net student, were
also honoured at the session. Prof. Parmjit Kaur, Director, IAS Centre
welcomed the students at the centre and apprised them about the daily schedule. Dr.
Shruti Bedi, Coordinator, thanked the dignitary and the students on behalf of
the Centre.
