ITBP WITH STUDENTS OF PG DIPLOMA

University, Chandigarh organized an interactive session with Commandant
Mr Surinder Khatri and his team from ITBP with students of PG Diploma in
Disaster Management. Prof Madhurima Verma welcomed the guests and
Mr. Jessu Jaskunwar Singh Faculty in education highlighted the
importance of ITBP that works at high altitudes. Commandant Mr Surinder Khatri
informed the students the need of managing disasters and role NDMA in this
regard. There was a display of equipment, fire extinguishers, mock drill
and demonstration of First Aid help during disaster natural and man made.
Students had good learning experience.
