off more than 2 Tons of Drugs

Drug
Disposal Committee (DDC) of Chandigarh Police under Chairmanship of SP Crime,
Manoj Kumar Meena, comprising DSP Crime and Narcotics Control Bureau officer
has disposed-off the contraband drugs of 838NDPS Act cases of all 16 Police
Stations of Chandigarh Police in which large quantity of Cocaine, Heroin,
Charas, Puppy Husk, Ganja, Smack, Doda, Intoxicant Injections, tablets, Powder
& Capsules were seized. On 04.02.2022, during the pre-drug disposal
meeting, after checking the muds and papers of 838 NDPS Act cases, DDC found it
fit for disposal and same was disposed-of on 08.02.2022 by adopting all legal
process. The drugs were disposed-off at M/s Rainbow Environments Pvt Limited,
1139, Sector-69, Mohali, Punjab through incinerator installed in the firm. The
mandatory drug disposal process requirements were complied with by the Drug
Disposal Committee. The name and quantity of drugs approximately as under:-

is the biggest drug disposal process in Chandigarh Police ever made by Drug
Disposal Committee (DDC) as well as 4th Drug Disposal during
last 06 months i.e., on 04.08.2021, 14.09.2021, 30.12.2021 and now on
08.02.2022.
