ONE OF A MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT BY CHANDIGARH POLICE
A MAN GET ARESSTED BY CHANDIGARH POLICE INVOLVE IN DRUG PEDDLING

Police has achieved a major achievement by arresting one person who involved in
drug peddling. On 01.02.2022, a team of Police Station-31, Chandigarh under the
close guidance of Ms Shruti Arora, IPS, ASP/South under supervision of Insp
Ranjit Singh, SHO, PS-31 headed by SI Akhtar Hussain alongwith police party was
on succeeded in apprehending one drug paddler namely Rijwan Ali S/o Isalam Ali
R/o 306, Village Dariya, Chandigarh age 37 years. The Police Station-31 team
was on patrolling duty in the area of Police Station-31, Chandigarh with regard
to prevention and control of crime near Kali Bari Light Point, Chandigarh. In
the meantime, one person who was coming from 3 BRD road turned back and tried
to fled on seeing the police party. On suspicion, the police party apprehended
him and recovered total 480 capsules of TRAMADOL HYDROCHLORIDE (Porxymed-spas
capsule) from the possession of Rijwan Ali S/o Isalam Ali S/o R/o 306, Village
Dariya, Chandigarh (Permanent address is Village-Taibpur Wada, PS-Devband,
Tehsil-Devband, District-Saharanpur (UP). Consequently, Case FIR No 14 dated
01.02.2022 U/s 22 NDPS Act, PS-31, Chandigarh was registered against drug
peddler Rijwan Ali and arrested in this case. Today accused Rijwan Ali produce
in the Hon’ble Court.
