Stepping Stones Celebrates Labour Day

Stepping Stones International
celebrates Labourday on May 1, 2018 with full aplomb. A special assembly was
organized by Stepping Stones International and Stepping Stones Sr. Sec. School where
the workers of school were felicitated by giving gifts to them. The assembly
kicked off with a speech welcoming the workers and acknowledging their hard
work. Students of both the wings enacted plays on the hardships of a worker’s
life. Students recited poems praising
the labourers.
A fancy dress competition was
organized for the students of classes 1i and 2i where they came dressed as
different workers of different fields. Students of classes 3i to 9i
participated in poster making and slogan writing competition.
To make children realize the
importance of giving, students of classes 6i to 9i were told to bring things
for the labourers which can be sent to them for their
use. Workers were overwhelmed watching
the function and expressed their gratitude towards the school management,
teachers and students for their endeavor. School principal Ms. Anu Kumar
congratulated the workers and thanked them for their selfless services.
