Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, PU Organize noble cleanliness drive in the Campus

Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Panjab University, Chandigarh
carried out Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, here today to support the noble cleanliness
drive in the Campus. The program began with a motivational discourse by
Dr. Shweta Sharma, Chairperson of the institute. While talking to the
active volunteers of the institute,Dr. Sharma spoke to students and staff
to begin with the crusade and
contribute their endeavors to make the drive a major achievement.The chairperson also requested the members of the institute to keep their working spaces clean in this way guaranteeing the general point of neatness. Dr. Vishal Sharma, Faculty of the Institute, while delivering his thoughts said, "This kind of Abhiyan motivates all of us especially the students and reminds us about our duties towards building a cleaner and better nation".He emphasized on the collaboration of students in keeping up the premises in a pristine state. After that, all participants took pledge on Cleanliness and launched drive by cleaning
indoor premises, lecture halls, laboratories and open space of the Institute. Segregation of various wastes like, glassware, plastic ware, chemicals and other miscellaneous items was carried and was disposed off properly. The dynamic support, zeal and enthusiasm offered by the faculty members, staff, research scholars and students made this drive a great success.
