SHIRDI CELEBRATE 3DAY’S GURU POURNUMA UTSAV 2018

On behalf of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi)and as per
annual traditions GURUPOURNUMA UTSAV will be celebrated this year between
26thJuly and 28th July 2018. Due to Moon Eclipse on 27th July that is the
main day of celebrations Samadhi Mandir will be closed after Shejarati and in
lieu of the same the Mandir will be kept open for the entire night on the
conclusion day of the celebrations that is on the 28th July 2018. This information
has been provided by Shrimati Rubal Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer of the
Sansthan.
Shrimati
Agrawal said that the Mentor-disciple tradition is ancient. For expressing
gratitude for our teacher/mentor GURU POURNIMA is celebrated on Ashadhi
Pournima. Even while Shri Saibaba was living GURU POURNIMA was celebrated with
much fervor at Shirdi. Therefore the event has an enormous importance for the
disciples. Innumerable devotees of Shri Saibaba visit Shirdi every year for
Samadhi Darshan and attend the celebrations religiously.
This year as always various programs have been
organized on the occasion of GURU POURNIMA celebrations. On the first day of
the same on the 26th July 2018, Kakad Aarti will be performed at 4.30 in the morning. There
will be a procession of Shri Saibaba Photo and Pothi at 5.00 am. Continuous
reading od Shri Sai Saccharit will start at Dwarakamai at 5.15 am. Holy bath and
Darshan for Shri Saibaba at 5.30 am and Shri Saibaba Padya Pooja will be performed at 6.00 am. Madhyanha
Aaarti will be performed at 12.30 Noon and keertan will be performed between 4 pm and 6 pm. Dhooparati
will be performed at 7 pm. Invited artists will perform between 7.30 pm to 9 pm and 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm. At 9.15 pm a procession
of Shri Saibaba Palanquin will be taken through the city and after the procession
returns Shejarati for shri Saibaba will be performed at 10.30 pm. Dwarakamai
will be kept open for reading of Sai Saccharit for the entire night on this day.
On Friday the 27th July 2018 being main
day of the celebrations, Kakad Aarti will be performed at 4.30 in the morning.
There will be conclusion of continuous reading of Shri Saibaba Pothi and
procession of Photo and Pothi at 5.00 am. Holy bath and
Darshan for Shri Saibaba at 5.20 am and Shri Saibaba Padya Pooja will be performed at 6.00 am. Madhyanha
Aaarti will be performed at 12.30 Noon and keertan will be performed between 4 pm and 6 pm. Dhooparati
will be performed at 7 pm. Invited artists will perform between 7.30 pm to 9 pm and 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm. At 9.15 pm a procession
of Shri Saibaba Palanquin will be taken through the city. Due to Moon Eclipse
on the day Samadhi Mandir will remain closed after Shejarati for Shri Saibaba
performed at 11.00 pm.
