7 DAY RESIDENTIAL NSS CAMP
CONCLUDED WITH ENTHRALLING PERFORMANCES BY HOME SCIENCE GIRLS

The NSS Unit of Government Home Science College celebrated the
valedictory ceremony of the 7 Day Residential NSS Camp at the adopted village
Khuda Ali Sher. NSS incharges, Mrs Seema
Jaitly and Dr Neha Sharma, interacted with the villagers to get their feedback
about the camp and know more about the prevalent barriers faced by them in
keeping their surroundings clean. NSS volunteers gave
enthralling performances. A Nukkad Natak was also enacted by the effervescent
team of NSS on the theme 'Swachhta'. The volunteers and the
programme officers also expressed their gratitude to sarpanch of the village,
Sh. Hukam Chand, all the local villagers and enthusiastic children for making
this camp a grand success and also assured them to provide any kind of
support at every step for future endeavours. NSS Volunteers also thanked rural
people for their immense patience and active participation
throughout the camp. NSS mentors expressed their gratitude to the
Principal of the college, Prof Sudha Katyal, for providing all the facilities
required for the successful execution of the camp. Prof Katyal applauded the
efforts of the NSS volunteers and their mentors for their innovative ideas and
dedication. She also motivated the volunteers to continue with the moto 'Not Me
But You' with more responsibility and make use of this opportunity and
contribute their bid in transforming the society.
