 Chandigarh Traffic Police Organized Health Camp with Private Hospital

During the ongoing observation of 32nd National Road Safety Month 2021, Today i.e on  13th Feb 2021 Chandigarh Traffic Police in association with Team of Doctors and staff from Paras Hospital Panchkula conducted a Health Care cum Eye Checkup Camp for the Drivers of CTU/Punjab Roadways/Haryana Roadways / Pepsu/TSR/OLA/UBER taxi and Police drivers at Multipurpose Hall Police Lines Sec 26 chandigarh from 9.30 AM to 2 .00 PM .

During this healthcare cum Eye Checkup camp the drivers under went general health checkup pertaining to weight, Blood pressure, Sugar checkup along with eye checkup. A special talk session regarding how to keep correct posture while driving  and in general along with benefits of balanced diet and exercise cum yoga was delivered by Dr Pradeep  Aggarwal,  Chairman Ortopedics and joint replacement surgery MBBS, MS ( Orthopedics ) Gold Medalist. Besides this the CTP team consisting of Insp Jaspal Singh, SI Tirath Singh, Asi Parminder Singh, HC Sher Singh, Ct Jarpreet, Vol Satnam and Vol Narinder  contributed in awaring  drivers of CTU, PUNJAB ROADWAYS, POLICE , TSR  and Swiggy about the Importance of ROAD SAFETY making special  awareness emphasis  about  follwing topics :

IMPACT OF USE MOBILE PHONE WHILE DRIVING , WHILE WALKING & CROSSING ROAD

AVOIDE DRUNKEN DRIVING & SPEEDING

BE A GOOD SAMARITAN

RIGHTS OF PEDESTRAIN AND IMPORTANCE OF ZEBRA CROSSING"

Importance of use of safety devices in motor vehicles i.e.  Seat belt in 4 wheelers &  wearing of Protective Heard gear HELMET for 2wheelers. Importance of Lane Driving No unnecessary Honking and Non use of Pressure or multituned or musical horns. Beside this the drivers were also made awared about the Ammendments made in MV Act 1988 , CMVR 1989 and Motor Vehicle Driving Regulation 2017 and how by keeping due care and caution while driving and following traffic rules can avoid road crashes and save lives on roads.
