Disposal Committee constituted by W/Director General of Police, U.T, Chandigarh
comprising of Sh. Manoj Kumar Meena, IPS, SP/ Crime & HQ as Chairman, Ms. Neena
Kakkar, Superintendent, NCB, Chandigarh & Sh. Udaypal Singh, CPS, DSP Crime
as members of Drug Disposal Committee has disposed of the contraband drugs of
102 cases of 05 police stations in which Charas, Heroin, Cocaine, Poppy Husk,
Ganja, Smack, Tablets, Injections were seized. Today, seized drugs of Police
Stations i.e., Police Station, Sector-03, 19, 26, 39 & IT Park of Chandigarh
were disposed of as these were found fit for disposal by Drug Disposal
Committee after scrutinizing of all details. The drugs were disposed of at M/s
Punjab Chemicals, & Crop Protection Limited, Derabassi, Mohali, Punjab
through incinerator installed in the company. The mandatory drug disposal process
requirements were complied with by the committee. The quantity of drugs
disposed in 102 NDPS Act cases is as under:-
