CHANDIGARH ADVISOR FELICITATES RAM LAKHAN PAL FOR WINNING GOLD MEDAL IN 46KG WEIGHT CATEGORY AT AMMAN, JORDAN

Sh. Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh Administration and Sh. S.S. Gill, Secretary Sports honored Master Krrish Pal, who has made the country proud and also fulfilled the promise he made to his father late Sh. Ram Lakhan Pal by winning Gold Medal in 46kg weight category in ASBC Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championship held at Amman, Jordan from 28.02.2022 to 15.03.2022. Master Krrish Pal won Pre-Quarterfinal bout easily by beating Uzbekistan’s boxer Sobirjon Tastanov by 4-1. In the Quarterfinal bout he defeated Robert Jamero Malu of Philippines by 4-1. Master Krrish Pal thrashed Sanad Aljammal of Jordan by 5-0 in the Semi-final bout held on 10th March 2022 whereas in the final bout Master Krrish beaten Tajikistan’s boxer Anushervon Fazylov by 4-1. Master Krrish Pal is a student of class 10th at Govt Model High School, Sec.43A, Chandigarh and also taking coaching from Sh. Bhagwant Singh, Jr. Boxing Coach since 2016 at Sports Complex, Sec.56, Chandigarh. Last year he won Junior National Championship held at Delhi Public School, Sonepat, Haryana and also declared as the best Boxer of the tournament. The Adviser to the Administrator congratulated and encouraged Master Krrish Pal and also felicitated his coach and gave his best wishes to the player to perform in future tournaments as well and to make the city proud. At last Sh. Tejdeep Singh Saini, Director (Sports) thanked Advisor to the Administrator and Secretary (Sports) for their words of encouragement for the upcoming athletes.
