continuation to the series of meeting for the implementation of CMP -2031 , a meeting was held under the
chairmanship of Adviser to the
Administrator Sh. Dharam Pal today seeking updates on the implementation of
various projects envisaged in the Master Plan. The secretaries of all the
concerned departments, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation , Estate officer,
CEO CHB ,CA Chief Architect and other officers from various departments were
present. Projects related to Commercial Areas in Sector 52 and 56 were
discussed , wherein W/AA directed to expediate the auctioning process of SCOs .
Further for Commercial areas within NAC limits and Outside of NAC Limits
details were submitted by CMC and . Other Commercial projects such as Sub-City
Center, Sector 34- Redevelopment Proposal, Prototype Urban Renewal of
Neighbourhood Shopping Centres-Sector 11, Transit Oriented Development along
the Vikas Marg, Wholesale Grain,Fruit and Vegetable Market in Sector 39 were
deliberated , wherein the adviser has categorically fixed the deliverables and
timelines for speedy implementation of Chandigarh Master Plan 2031. Other
projects related to housing ,longitudinal green corridors, industrial areas
were also contemplated & directions issued for expediting all public
projects by the Adviser.
