PWL Players bags 20 Medals including 7 Gold

   Pro Wrestling League (PWL) has proven its mettle once again with participating players bagging a total of 20 medals at the recently concluded European Championship, 30th April to 6th May, Russia and Pan American Championship, 3rd to 6th May, Peru. With a score of 7 shining Gold medals, the Championship summed up with 20 medals in its kitty for PWL players. He Gold medalists include three time World Champion Adeline Gray, Olympic medalists Mariya Stadnik along with Azerbaijan’s Haji AliyevMagomed Kurbanaliev, Yesiliramek Elif JaleJenny Fransson and Levan Lopez. All of the Gold medalists have prudently performed a brilliant show at world’s largest Olympic style wrestling league. While Adeline Gray held the Icon Player spot of team Mumbai in Season 1, Cuba’s Levan Lopez represented finalists team Haryana. Interestingly, Levan gave a tough competition to India’s Narsingh Yadav but was defeated by the World Championship Bronze medalist. On the other hand, Haji Aliyev and Mariya Stadnik both had represented team Delhi in Season 3 and 2, respectively. While Russia’s Magomed Kurbanaliev played for team Haryana in Season 2 continuously motivating the team that led them at the final stage, whereas Turkey’s Elif Jale showed her wrestling moves & tricks in Season 1 via team Delhi. However, India’s Sarita baffled the European Champion by giving her a strong yet close defeat. Jenny Fransson fought the most enticing and historic fight against Erica Wiebe at the second season of the league succumbing to the Olympic Gold medalist in the most interesting bout in the history of PWL. The other 13 medalists out of PWL hall of fame includes:
Male : Russia’s Ilyas Belbulatov (65 kg – team Punjab) Silver, Georgia’s Geno Petrishvili ( 125 kg – team Punjab) Silver, Georgia’s Vladimir Khinchegashvili (65 kg – team Haryana) Bronze, Georgia’sZurabi ( 70 kg – team Punjab) Bronze, Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil Hasanov (79 kg – team Punjab) Bronze, Georgia’s Elizbar Odikadze ( 97 kg – team Jaipur) Bronze, Azerbaijan’s Jamaluddin Magomedov (125 kg – team UP) Bronze.
Female: Belurus’s Vanesa Kaladzinskiya (53 kg – team UP) Silver, France’s Koumba Larrouque (68 kg – team Punjab) Silver, France’s Cynthia Vescan (72 kg – team Mumbai) Silver, Vasilisa Marziulik(76 kg – team Maharashtra) Bronze, Carolina Castillo Hidalgo (50 kg – team Mumbai) Silver, Venezuela’s Betzabeth Arguello ( 53 kg – team Jaipur) Bronze.
