Pro Wrestling League
(PWL) has proven its mettle once again with participating players bagging a
total of 20 medals at the recently concluded European Championship, 30th April
to 6th May, Russia and Pan American Championship, 3rd to
6th May, Peru. With a score of 7 shining Gold medals, the
Championship summed up with 20 medals in its kitty for PWL players. He Gold
medalists include three time World Champion Adeline Gray, Olympic
medalists Mariya Stadnik along with Azerbaijan’s Haji
Aliyev, Magomed Kurbanaliev, Yesiliramek Elif Jale, Jenny
Fransson and Levan Lopez. All of the Gold medalists have
prudently performed a brilliant show at world’s largest Olympic style wrestling
league. While Adeline Gray held the Icon Player spot of team Mumbai in Season
1, Cuba’s Levan Lopez represented finalists team Haryana. Interestingly, Levan
gave a tough competition to India’s Narsingh Yadav but was defeated by the
World Championship Bronze medalist. On the other hand, Haji Aliyev and Mariya
Stadnik both had represented team Delhi in Season 3 and 2, respectively. While
Russia’s Magomed Kurbanaliev played for team Haryana in Season 2 continuously
motivating the team that led them at the final stage, whereas Turkey’s Elif
Jale showed her wrestling moves & tricks in Season 1 via team Delhi.
However, India’s Sarita baffled the European Champion by giving her a strong
yet close defeat. Jenny Fransson fought the most enticing and historic fight
against Erica Wiebe at the second season of the league succumbing to the
Olympic Gold medalist in the most interesting bout in the history of PWL. The
