High end fashion a big hit at CII Chandigarh Fair 2018

For fashionistas from the region, CII Chandigarh Fair 2018 has brought many options to choose from for Diwali. Right from traditional Indian fashion wear to western evening wear, the Fair has everything from georgette dresses to pure chiffon and crepe. Gota patti embroidery motifs gave the suits a rich touch. With the city beautiful being a hub of fashion trendsetters, the show Haute Couture has indeed touched hearts of many visitors by bringing in latest fashion trends especially for the fall winter season. A wide range of handmade Kashmiri Arts, such as shawls, bedspreads, suits & sarees, are a great hit for their quality fabric and handwork. In addition to this, hand-made aari-work Srinagar famous suits & shawls are a hot sell at the Fair. “Priced between Rs 1,000 to 6,00,000, our handmade shawls are statement pieces in true sense. We are participating at CII Chandigarh Fair for the sixth time in a row this year and the response is overwhelming as ever, said Sheikh Rouf, owner of the stall.” Special hand-stitched suits and sarees, are most sought-after. It takes artisans almost two years to complete one shawl. Colors of Thailand “We come to India only once every year for the CII Chandigarh Fair. CII Fair not only gives us an opportunity to interact with buyers directly but also reach out to the Indian Community,” said Mr Sumit Malhotra, owner of Born for Thailand Stall. Pure crepe, satin suits High end graphic prints on pure crepe and satin suits in modern designs are a great hit at the CII Chandigarh Fair 2018. Coupled with shimmery dupattas and palazzos, the modern take on the traditional suits were a hot sell at the Fair.
