Appreciating the announcements made
in Haryana Budget 2019-20 presented by Captain Abhimanyu, Hon’ble Finance
Minister, Haryana, Mr Jasmohan Singh, Chairman, CII Haryana State Council &
MD, Frick India Ltd said that CII The budget is in sync with the Vote on
Account presented by Mr Piyush Goyal. Mr Singh congratulated the State
Government for presenting a good budget. No new taxes are introduced in this
state budget which is a welcome move. CII also welcomes Government of Haryana’s
decision to launch State Logistics Warehousing & Retail Policy, he said.
CII has submitted a number of recommendations and also organised stakeholder
consultations for the policy. Mr Singh expressed his happiness over Haryana’s
performance in the Ease of Doing Business Index and mentioned that the
Government’s efforts in formulating and implementing “New Enterprise Promotion
Policy 2015” are yielding desired results. Speaking on the announcements made
for the agriculture sector, Mr Singh said that the State’s vision to transform
the agriculture sector completely by diversifying the focus from conventional
crops to horticulture crops to animal husbandry and fisheries in the coming
years and making these sectors holistic, integrated, progressive and futuristic
is a welcome move.
