CMA ORGANISED A BRILLIANT TALK ON “BREATHE EASY
STAY TOUGH”

Chandigarh management Association organised a
brilliant talk on “Breathe Easy Stay Tough” at lions Club Chandigarh on 31st
March 2019. Mr Lalit Bajaj welcomed the Guests from Lung care Foundation and
Ganga Ram Hospital Delhi. The event was Co- powered by Veera developers Pvt
Limited. Mr Rajiv Khurana founder trustee of Lung Care Foundation CEO and
founder of the personnel lab was the Keynote speaker He explained due to
pollution our lungs are getting damaged day by day. Pollution is a national emergency
and it needs awareness, awakening and commitment. He explained that normally we
eat 3 times in a day 10 times in a day we drink tea or water and we breathe
25000 times per day and consume 10000 litres of air per day but we do not plan
for our breathing. We cannot stop breathing even for 30 seconds. Indirectly due
to pollution we are in other words smoking daily. Among most cities of the
world we have 15 cities in our country. Dr Navdeep Singh from Sir Ganga Ram
Hospital Delhi also spoke on this topic and explained in details the effect of
pollution on lungs with audio visual AIDS. Even in a city like Chandigarh we
are smoking 2.6 cigarettes per day as per particulate matter. Mr Abhishek Kumar
from lung care Foundation informed about the Healthcare camps being organised
for the care of lungs it was given that time has come to create war on smoke
and dust and we have to take initiative and finish this and for this we have to
involve and inspire next generation.
