“Restoring
the Glory and Prestige of Chandigarh is my Priority”, said Congress Candidate
from Chandigarh Pawan Kumar Bansal while addressing the gathering in Sector 15
here today. Speaking on the occasion, Bansal said with the changes in society
people needs are changing over the period of time. And BJP in the last five
years has completely failed to understand the needs of people. He said in
cleanliness Chandigarh slipped from 1st position to 20 and in Smart City
Project our ranking has gone down to 67 position, which left residents
disheartened and dejected. He said that once voted to power he will try to
regain the pride of the city, which we have lost in five years. Residents rued
about the BJP callous attitude towards the traffic problem and law and order
situation. They said due to insufficient parking space in the sector 15
market, visitors parked in front of the houses, which made inconvenient to them.
Taking a note, Bansal said that if once voted to power he will ensure
streamlining of traffic, which will put an end to traffic woes. Those present
on the occasion were Saurabh Khurana, JP Yadav, Dr Sanjay Bhambri, Bhushan
Sharma, Sanjeev Moudgil and others congress supporters.
