Kumar Bansal, Congress Candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election from
Chandigarh, was given a rousing welcome at Khuda Ali Sher village here today. Former
Union Minister criticized the bringing villages under MC and said, “BJP
hoodwinked innocent villagers bringing them under MC in the name of development
and initiated imposing taxes on their properties.” He said the Chandigarh

houses built outside ‘Lal dora’ will be demolished once voted to power. Expressing

proposal forward that the special preference should be given to the city’s
youths in government appointment. He also assured that he will hold a “open
house meeting”, after every 15 days to address the grievance of villages. Among
others were present included Gurpreet Singh, Bunty Dhaliwal, Gurdiyal Singh,
