NO END TO INFLUX OF THE BJP LEADERS INTO CONGRESS

In a
major setback to Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), the District Joint Secretary
Iqbal Sahota, joined the Congress party along with his supporters. Along with
him, Block President from Ward no 2 Sushma Sahni along with their workers
formally joined the party fold in the presence of Congress Candidate from
Chandigarh Pawan Kumar Bansal and CTCC President Pardeep Chhabra here today. Welcoming
them into the party fold, Pawan Kumar Bansal said more leaders are joining in
to Congress because they are aware of the work done by the Congress in the past
and indeed, it will further strengthen the party in the forthcoming Lok Sabha
Election. The former BJP workers said they were unhappy with the BJP misrule,
as no development took place in the city past 5 years. They further added the
MP Kirron was inaccessible to meet for the city residents, even for their own
workers. We have joined Pawan Kumar Bansal ji because he is city’s
local face and aware about the city’s problems. Pardeep Chhabra said Congress
is not a party but a family which is open for those who really want to work for
the public cause. Among those who have joined Congress today include Rajesh,
Balwinder Singh, Ravinder Pal Singh, Thomas Masih, J.V Morya, Balbir Singh,
Poonam, Sanjeev, Somesh, Vanshika, Javed Kalyan, Rekha, Mittal Sen, and
Shishpal .
