Induction Programme concludes at
PU

Institute of Engineering and Technology(UIET), Panjab University(PU) organized
a three week Induction Programme for the newly admitted students of first year
in which students were sensitized
towards exploring their academic interests and activities. Several
activities like Yoga, meditation, marathon are being organised for their
physical, mental and spiritual growth. Valedictory function was organized, here
today which was graced by Shri
Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Honourable Cabinet Minister of Education, Government
of Assam. He encouraged the students to live their lives to the fullest, focus
on co-curricular activities along with their studies. Prof Raj Kumar, Vice
Chancellor, PU motivated and shared his valuable thoughts with the students. Shri. Maninder Singh, IAS, Additional
Chief Secretary, Government of Assam was also present on the occasion. The
event started with a welcome address by Prof. Savita Gupta, Director UIET. The
Director, UIET briefed about various activities organized during the induction
programme.
