Goddess Saraswati is the one who gives us wisdom. The
festival of Basant Panchami holds utmost importance for students as Devi Saraswati
is the goddess of knowledge. Thus on this auspicious day we at PML SD Public
School, Sector 32, Chandigarh; celebrated this day with
our students. As yellow color is considered auspicious during the time of
Basant Panchami as it is the time of spring when mustard crops are harvested.
In recognition of this, students offered yellow flowers to Goddess Saraswati.
Yellow prasadam was distributed to all for the occasion.
