obliged to you for inserting the following news in your esteemed daily A three-day workshop on Gujrati Folk art, 'Lippan', was organised from
September 3rd to 5th by Mrs Seema Sharma and Mrs Varinder Kaur at Dev Samaj
College for Women, Sector 45B, Chandigarh. The workshop was held in Association
with RUSA. Mrs Santosh Verma, renowned folk artist, introduced the students to
the intricacies of 'Lippan' art and murals. More than 55 students
benefited from this workshop. Dr Jaspal Kaur Principal, appreciated the efforts
of the organizers and the expert in acquainting the students with Indian
heritage.
