Social Work , PU Students Celebrate Children’s Day at

The students from Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the supervision of Mr Prashant
Sharma Field work Supervisor visited Pingalwara, Palsora,
Chandigarh on the euphoric occasion of Children Day,2018.
The students organised various interactive activities like physical
exercises, singing, dancing and vocational activities for the patients
and residents. They also oiled the wheels of Kapde Sewa by arranging
and settling the clothes intended as gifts for the patients and
sevadars. The female students were also instrumental in
kitchen by washing and chopping vegetables. They were also
conducive to hygiene of patients by providing them the
Hand Wash Training. Overall success of the visit was
enhanced by the happy faces of the patients,
blessings of Bibiji and sevadars, and a vow to volunteer
in the organizations activities as and when needed.
