for Police Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a workshop on “Crime Scene Investigation:
Photography and Videography
during Evidence Collection” which started with the introductory address of Dr. Kuldeep Singh,
Chairperson, and Centre for Police Administration.Mr. Pawan Kumar, DSP,
Crime Branch, Chandigarh Police was the Guest of Honour. Sub-Inspector Inder
Pal Singh and his team created a scene of crime and provided insight regarding collection
of evidences i.e. fingerprints,
blood samples and other articles found at crime scene during police investigation. Demonstration was given to students about
photography and videography of evidences, collection of fingerprints from
different objects and protection and preservation of collected evidences. Prof. Anil Monga, Dr. Akshat Mehta, NCC cadets,
research scholars and students
of the Centre attended the workshop.
