Calendar 2019 of Connect Broadband, features paintings of children from across
India. Digital & Offline Contest The Little Picasso 2019 on the theme of
celebrations of various festivals was launched last year on digital platform,
attracting participation of 850 children from diverse socio-economic
backgrounds. The 12 winning entries from Kolkatta, Meerut, Ratia and Panipat in
Haryana, Chandigarh and across Punjab, were selected by a four-members jury
comprising renowned artists including Ravindra Sharma and Bharti Sharma,
co-founders of RSAA, Sikander Singh and Nikita Mahendru. Children visualized
the celebrations and envisioned the future of India in their paintings. Connect
Broadband has been working with children on various fronts especially the
NetChamp Programme under which children are being sensitized across various
schools in Punjab and Chandigarh to protect them against internet frauds and
malicious sites. More than 10,000 children in 35 schools have been reached in
the last six months and the company intends to reach out to at least20
more schools in another two months
