Dr. Jun Liu, Vice Provost and Dean International
Academic Programs and Services (IAPS) and Dr. Devinder Mahajan Professor
and Graduate Program Director, Chemical & Molecular Engineering from Stony Brook University visited Panjab
University, Chandigarh, and here today. Prof. Shankar ji Jha,
Dean of University Instructions and officiating Vice Chancellor, PU, chaired
the meeting and welcomed the delegation. The discussions focused on the
creation of Joint Institute of Sustainability Development, Student
Exchange Degree/Collaboration between Panjab University and Stony Brook
University besides establishment of Global Summer Institute and also to
explore collaboration in both Science & Technology as well as Arts & Sciences. Dr. Liu introduced Stony Brook
University and provided detailed information about international
programmes being offered by his University. Prof. Nandita Singh
Dean of International Students, PU talked about the ongoing collaboration
Panjab University has with Universities from abroad.
