University, Chandigarh launched newly designed website www.onlinesaif.puchd.ac.in of Department of Sophisticated Analytical
Instrumentation facility (SAIF / CIL), here today. Prof. S.K. Mehta, Director
SAIF / CIL informed that the website has been prepared after months of hard work and dedication by SAIF/CIL
staff especially Ms. Anitha with the help of DST, New Delhi. He
further added that the goal of this new website is to provide the users/students
an easier way to know about SAIF/CIL services and also to allow the
users/students to browse information based on their own choice. The new
website is interactive and gives better access about SAIF/CIL, Service
Charges, Online Registration for sample submission, Upcoming Instruments,
Seminars / Workshops details etc. Dr Mehta informed that the new
features, the site contains online registration for sample submission
and current status for instruments to foster improved communication
with the users/Students and additionally the users will know the status
of sample (i.e Analyzed/in progress) and download the e-bill. The
website will be constantly updated with helpful content, information, department
announcements, Seminars etc. in the News section. Senior Colleagues
Prof. M. M. Gupta, Prof. Rajat Sandhir, Prof. R. Tewari, Prof. Sanjeev
Puri, Prof. Devinder Singh, Dr. Prashant Gautam including SAIF/CIL
Staff, Faculty and research students were present during the website
launched.
