TRAINING IMPARTED TO ALL
NODAL OFFICERS

The Election Department Chandigarh today imparted training to
all nodal officers and AROs at the UT guest house, Chandigarh. During the
training program detailed power point presentation was delivered imparted by
state level master trainers. The training focused on EVM management and training,
online complaints, C-vigil, static surveillance and flying squads,
Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System & Postal Ballot, IT
application, Suvidha Sugam Samadhan, Model Code of Conduct, Media Monitoring,
Video Viewing & Surveillance Teams and Election Expenditure Monitoring by
the representatives of Election Commission of India. The session was
chaired by Sh. Ajoy Kumar Sinha, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, U.T Chandigarh,
who directed the officials to ensure that all arrangements and preparedness is
fully in place to facilitate smooth elections.
