A presentation on study progress of
Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) for Tri City was given by M/s RITES Ltd.
today before the Adviser to the Administrator. The presentation covered the
Study Progress, land use parameters, Primary Surveys & its utilization, parking
management measures and service level bench mark for Chandigarh Tri-City. The
Comprehensive Traffic & Travel Surveys including House Hold Surveys in
Chandigarh Tri City are in progress. Based on the Survey Data Analysis, RITES
will be submitting the Interim Report for the study by end of May, 2022.
Secretary Transport, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, SSP Traffic, Chief
Architect, Chief Engineer, Chief Town Planner, Punjab & Haryana also
attended the meeting.
