Junior Golf Tournament at Chandigarh Golf Club

Chandigarh Golf Club hosted the 4th tournament of “Greens to Glory”, an organisation dedicated to promoting junior golf in india. The club gave full support for this tournament which was based on Stableford format with a total of 39 participants in five categories A, B, C, D, E. The tournament was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony where the President of the Club Sh. Birinder Singh Gill gave away the prizes to the Boys and Girls.
In the Girls E Category Mahika Garg was the winner with 12 points. In Category D Girls Niyati Dhillon was the winner with 15 points, Anaya Pahwa runners-up with 14 points and Yogyata Modi followed at the second runners-up position with 3 points. Category C Girls saw Mehar Nijjer at the pole position with 18 points, Vibhi Chadha runners-up with 12 points and Jiah Kang second runners-up with 7 points. In Category B Girls Gunaaz Gill won with 14 points, Sakshi Meha followed closely with 13 points as runners-up and Pragya Sharma the second runners-up with 10 points.
In the Boys E Category Deeyon Sian Pao won with 15 points leaving Neil Jolly in the runners-up position with 14 points and Rannvijay Singh Gill second runners-up with just 8 points. Ajaybir Singh was the winner in Category D Boys with 15 points whereas Waris Kamboj came runners-up and Jai Gupta Second runners up. Waris and Jai also had 15 points but lost to Ajaybir in a 3-way playoff. In Category C Boys Daanish Chauhan was the winner with 17 points and Manyaveer Singh Bhadoo runners-up with 13 points. Saurav Das finished second runners-up in the same category. Category B Boys saw Aadit Garg as the winner with 26 points, Fatehbir Singh Kahlon runners-up with 24 points and Tajeshvir Sandhu second runners-up with 22 points. In A Category Boys Ashwani Thakur won with 28 points leaving Mivaan Singh at the runners up position with 27 points and Suryaveer Bali second runners-up with 20 points.
