case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been
registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested
while consuming liquor at public place on 19.02.2019. This drive will be
continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

against Gambling/Satta Chandigarh
Police arrested Rajesh Kumar R/o # 945, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh while he
was playing satta near Airforce Wall, Phase-1, Ramdarbar and cash Rs. 4,130/-
was recovered from him. In this regard, a case FIR No. 69, U/S 13A-3-67
Gambling Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later he was released on
bail. Investigation of the case is in progress. One arrested for possessing illegal liquor Chandigarh Police
arrested a lady resident of DMC, Chandigarh from near Karan Taxi Stand,
Sector-38 West, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 48 quarters of country
made liquor on 19.02.2019. A case FIR No. 25, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been
registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. Abducted/missing A person resident of
Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 16 years
has been missing from his resident since 18.02.2019. A case FIR No. 22, U/S
363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra,
Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. Action against violation of
orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh A case FIR No. 53, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in
PS-03, Chandigarh against Abhay R/o # 728, Casia Omaxe, New Chandigarh who rented
out Booth No.1, Sector-10, Chandigarh without providing tenant information to
local Police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh.
Accused arrested and later bailed out.

been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul Mehta R/o # 490,
Sector-40/A, Chandigarh who alleged that Jatin, Mukul, Potu & 10-12 other
boys beaten, threatened and abuse complainant near Sector-38/40 light
point, Chandigarh on 29.01.2019. Later they pelted stones on complainant at #
409, Sector-40/A Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in
progress.
