Chandigarh : The
inauguration of an Elevator at the Girls’ Hostel of Dev Samaj College for
Women, Sec-45/B, Chandigarh took place today, April 26th 2018. The
Chief Guest on the occasion, Shirman Nirmal Singh Dhillon Ji, Chairman, Dev
Samaj, inaugurated the elevator at the Girls’ Hostel on the college campus.
The elevator has been installed to
facilitate movement in the four-storeyed Girls’ Hostel that is a home to more
than 300 students. The Guest of honour, Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Secreatry, Dev
Samaj congratulated the college on the installation of the elevator. Mrs.
PankajaVashist, Principal of the college, reiterated the commitment of the
college towards women education and providing best hostel facility for the
girls in the tricity. Dr, Jaspal Kaur, Dean Hostels, thanked the Dev Samaj
Managing Committee for providing the elevator facility to the Girls Hostel.
